Will Therese’s Dessert Taste As Incredible As It Looks?

MasterChef Australia. Coming Soon

MasterChef Australia hopeful Therese dreams up desserts that transport her to a wacky Willy Wonka wonderland.

The dessert that Therese creates for the judges in just 75 minutes looks incredible, but will it taste incredible too?

Therese’s visually breathtaking dessert:

Smart, although still might struggle against Lego Masters. Two heavily family shows head to head.

I’m sure these will be jigged around a bit. Isn’t the finale of MAFS is usually a two part episode with a final dinner party followed by the reunion? So I think it’s likely that will occur on the 18th/19th.

It didn’t last year though. Masterchef had it’s highest rating season in years against Lego Masters. They both clearly have different audiences.

I wonder if 10 and Endemol Shine will host a media launch of the new season next week, to take advantage of the easing of restrictions for the number of people allowed in private gatherings in Victoria (100 people will be allowed from this Friday)?

For the record, the media launch of season 12 was held on February 18 last year, before it premiered on April 13.

If last year’s schedule is any guide, there are at least two more episodes to go (the reunion) in this season of Married at First Sight. This means the earliest possible start date for MasterChef will be Tuesday, 20 April.
By my calculations, if this season is to have the same length as season 11 (13 weeks) it must start by the week of 18 April in order to finish it before the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony on 23 July.

I’ve already seen ads for MasterChef on posters and on buses around Brisbane

MasterChef socials teasing big news tomorrow.

Airdate?

That means the season launch event won’t be too far away.

Is this the first time Masterchef has premiered on a Tuesday? I seem to remember it starting on Sundays/Mondays for many years.

Not the first time. 2015.

10 must be thinking a MAFS final/reunion will be Sunday Monday.
