I suppose it is good I didn’t notice! I suspect tomorrow’s show will be one series’ best.
During the past few days 10 has been promoting “the greatest ever dish in MasterChef history” (which would top the sticky ribs dish from a couple of years ago). It would be seen in tomorrow’s show.
Jock told WSFM’s Jonesy and Amanda yesterday that he could not wait to finish filming on the current season.
Does Jock live in Australia (interstate)?
He lives in Adelaide. I presume Melissa and Andy are both based in Melbourne so they wouldn’t be affected as much as he is.
Melissa lives in Melbourne with her husband, it is their house shown in the home delivery elimination challenge.
During tonight’s episode, I notice there were only six contestants at the gantry. Looks like Laura was missing.
Are we going to comment on missing gantry contestants every week now?
It’s been Laura missing the last couple time’s. Probably got permission from Jock not to be there.
10 can expect a call by Pauline Hanson at anytime tomorrow
So the greatest ever dish in MasterChef history was Reynold’s dessert based on Alice in Wonderland. It was a brilliant dish that almost came unstuck after the hot caramel took time to melt the chocolate creating a rabbit hole effect.
wasn’t sure which thread to comment
I reckon the AFL and NRL on Thursday nights will face stiff competition from MC over coming weeks, with this season a massive hit and 1m+ metro (it may not even be a competition!) Not seen since 2015/2016.
Worth keeping an eye on, especially in MC-mad and AFL-mad Melbourne.
I think the opposite might occur. The show literally had a free run in the past six Thursdays with no NRL and AFL against it. With both sports returning, it’s hard to see MC reaching one million on Thursdays until finals week.
That was an unfounded quote imo.
Yeah, the judges never made or even hinted at such an assertion
I honestly don’t think either will be too affected by the other. They have different audiences and Masterchef has done well up against sport in the past.
So it was 10’s promo department who made up “the greatest ever dish” quote.
Shock horror, who would’ve thought a networks promos department would embellish the truth.
Or might it have been Endomol Shine (the production company)? Didn’t that claim appear in the promo bit tacked onto an earlier episode (Sunday)?
Given these people have been judges for 30 episodes of a show now in its 12th season, they are hardly in a position to make that call, are they?
