The new coronavirus protocols were supposed to kick in during next weekâs episodes. However based on the advance schedule posted by TVCynic yesterday, the show will still have guests during the week (Sydneyâs Josh Niland on Sunday and Kirsten Tibballs on Tuesday). It seems that although there wonât be any more international guests for the rest of the season, there will be occasional guest chefs as NSW and Victoria donât have 14-day quarantine rules for interstate arrivals.
It was obvious that Ben was leaving given he was not in the gantry for the Katy Perry episode and then yesterday they posted a picture of everyone up for elimination but Ben was missing. Clearly the Masterclass was filmed in a different order earlier in the week.
Gotta say I was gutted to see Hayden go last night. I find a few of the other medicore middle of the pack contestants (like Reece, Brendan, Tracey, Sarah) really boring. I am wondering if this season they will have any sort of eliminated contestant return challenge given that Ben left and they will prob want to make up some episodes. It could be a hard ask with all the Corona stuff going on and borders closing so maybe not.
