Married at First Sight

I’m not surprised. I am just ready for the reunion now. The vows last night were so boring. Thankfully I watched it delayed so could fast forward through a lot of it. I doubt either Jamie and Dave or Awhina and Adrian are still together despite sitting through that long and painful episode. I guess they have left the more interesting ones to tonight.

Where on earth did they drag Jacqui up from for this show? Good luck Clint! Maybe you’ll be ok, you seem almost as crazy and delusional as she is!

The AVO was taken out by Donnelly in Campbelltown Courthouse days after Burfoot was granted an interim Restraining Order in a Tasmanian court.

He should have done this when he met her at their marriage!

While the majority of scenes are filmed at stunning country locations, beautiful harbourside lookouts and luxury hotels, some of the most consequential and controversial moments are shot in an unassuming warehouse in Lilyfield.

The commercial space is reserved by Endemol Shine, who produce the show for Channel 9, from October through January for a cost of around $7000 a week.

Through the confines of the small screen the bland Lilyfield warehouse looks like a top notch building for the show’s stars and also the experts viewing all the action from another room.

The space sits in the old Parachute Regiment building that dates back to the 1940s.

In order to make the 1200 sqm space more aesthetically friendly for TV audiences, furniture is hired to create the intimate and romantic scenes desired.

Soft lighting and clever camera angles also allow the show’s makers to disguise the real nature of the warehouse.

Parts of the set are built just for the show, including the sliding door contenstants enter through at the beginning of the ceremonies.

###EPISODE 39: Final Reunion Dinner Party

It’s been 4 weeks since the end of the Experiment and it’s time for the Final Reunion Dinner Party.

RHI & JEFF are walking into tonight’s Reunion Dinner Party together, excited to share the love they have found with the rest of the group. Meanwhile, CARINA is still upset over the love that she lost with PAUL.

After Final Vows, JAMIE & DAVE are no longer together, after it became clear to JAMIE that DAVE was not developing deep romantic feelings for her. JAMIE is happy to see DAVE again, but won’t hold back if he says the wrong thing tonight.

Since both heading home AWHINA & ADRIAN have decided ultimately not to continue the relationship. AWHINA has since realised that their relationship was purely physical and although they had chemistry, she wants to let ADRIAN know how she really felt in their relationship.

Since leaving the Experiment, bride SIERAH is a woman on a mission and although she sent some texts to ADRIAN, she plans to reveal the things AWHINA said privately about ADRIAN to her while in the Experiment.

The biggest bombshell tonight is that JACQUI and CLINT have started an intimate relationship. They believe no one knows about it and it has remained a secret – however everyone is aware of their new relationship due to a number of rumours spreading across the group.

The Cocktail Party begins and the biggest spike in tension is when SIERAH arrives - a woman on a mission. AWHINA wants answers as to why SIERAH has been calling her names in a text to ADRIAN – the argument spills over as JAMIE gets involved and SIERAH decides to pull out the big guns and reveal exactly what AWHINA has said about ADRIAN behind his back.

ADRIAN is furious and asks AWHINA to confirm if this is all true, to which AWHINA concedes.

Meanwhile, RYAN is ready to confront CLINT and JACQUI if they turn up together, the group all speculate and confirm they all know about the new couple. When CLINT enters alone, he is immediately cornered by RYAN who demands the truth, CLINT refuses to spill. When JACQUI enters, the couple go to the bar to get a drink and decide it’s time to address the group and tell the truth.

The Dinner Party kicks off with RYAN confronting JACQUI and CLINT. The pair admit they are together, and the table explodes! RYAN laughs with vindication, but they soon get into a heated back and forth, ending in CLINT criticising RYAN for living ‘in the western suburbs’.

JAMIE & DAVE unpack their breakup, and JAMIE leaves the table in tears when DAVE still refuses to own up to not being attracted to her, she’s sad that she had to push the breakup. When she leaves the table all the women follow and they have a beautiful moment together, supporting one another.

The table questions what happened to CARINA & PAUL at Final Vows and back in Perth and the ex-couple have a confrontational exchange as PAUL decides to re-write history and blame the downfall of their relationship on CARINA’S lack of trust and jealousy.

Lastly, AWHINA and ADRIAN have it out at the table, ADRIAN is still incensed about being called ‘dumb’ by AWHINA and learning the other horrible things she said about him. They argue and acknowledge there is no coming back from this.

Tomorrow

Gosh Sierra was desperate for some airtime. Horrible woman.

Clint turned into the biggest douche. Those degrading comments about Western Sydney did not go down well with viewers. He seemed to forget that Jacqui lived in a tiny rented apartment that was too small to film home stays (so they got her an airbnb).

Clint also supposedly got engaged to Jacqui last night at some viewing event. The reunion was filmed in December so they’ve been dating for about 4 months? They just look stupid and pathetic those two, trying to do it whilst MAFS is still on for attention, and it just smells like they trying to rub it in the face of others.

Notice quite a few absent last night. No Morena, Tim, Lauren or Ashleigh’s partner. That says it all about these people really, especially someone like Morena who went rogue about her edit yet was already bitter enough to not even attend the reunion.

Looking forward to the reunion tonight, looks like the experts have some footage bombs to drop. Hopefully make Adrian and Paul look stupid.

UPDATE: Jacqui and Clint also appeared via Zoom on Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick this morning.

The reunion was a bit underwhelming just focusing on the final couples. Jacqui and Clint are just awful. So is Sierra pretty much being called out for pursuing the couple swap idea just to stay on.

All the earlier couples with drama got out of being grilled for not turning up (like Morena, Lauren and Tim). I think it’s a bit unfair that they just don’t show, I wonder if/what repercussions there are in their contracts for not showing.

Seems like the whole Jackie/Ryan situation is about to get even worse.

“Participants are shocked that the same thing that happens literally every year is happening again.”

Jacqui is obviously into money and thats the only reason shes ended up with Clint. She does Tik Tok and IG videos from his house all the time like look at me I’m successful. I guarantee she will be pregnant to him within the year to lock that down.

So just catching up on eps I know are weeks old but when they did that last task with the date with the other match its bloody annoyed me how they all went at Paul for being curious and for fun when Jamie said the exact same thing! Oh i’m nosey bitch. oh so its fine for you then cause youre a woman. Plus the hypocrisy of the ones that went on the dates too

also Carina was smirking and laughing the whole time cause she loves the drama

Married at First Sight under investigation by the broadcast watchdog over domestic violence themes

The Australian Communications and Media Authority is looking into allegations that the Channel 9 show aired scenes containing domestic violence themes in two episodes that potentially breached broadcast classification guidelines.

The ACMA confirmed this week that it had launched the investigation.

“The ACMA has received five complaints regarding the current season of Married At First Sight from people who have complained to the broadcaster, but were not satisfied with the response they received,” the ACMA said in a statement to the Sunday Herald Sun.

“The ACMA is investigating allegations that an episode broadcast on February 26, 2025 contained domestic violence themes that exceeded the episode’s M classification and that an episode broadcast on March 2, 2025 also contained domestic violence themes that exceeded the episode’s PG classification.”
