Jacqui is coo coo bananas. Even through all the editing they do you can tell she is not all there.

MAFS bride Jacqui doubles down in rogue posts after explosive dinner party

“To be fair on the group, they were not there, so didn’t know what happened. I didn’t say Ryan didn’t earn enough. I said I was concerned about his acting career not being stable and predictable and it would force him to be a primary caregiver and he wouldn’t be happy with that,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.

“I’m sorry if any men projected and took that as an insult.

“Yes I do want to be with a man who works hard/late, treats women very well & prides himself on a clean home.”

She went on to issue a spoiler, referencing her well-documented, new relationship with fellow MAFS groom Clint, a wealthy, retired golfer from Tasmania.

“Lucky I found myself one, and he is so so so great. LADIES NEVER LOWER YOUR STANDARDS!”

“I only put my foot down after his mate physically got up and started intimidating me. It was cut from the edit but hopefully the truth gets out via reunion or in court.”

One scene (from the dinner party) showed Rhi Disljenkovic, 34, arriving as her co-stars, including Jacqui Burfoot, 29, stood up from the couch to greet her.

However, at that point, Jacqui hadn’t yet made her entrance and moments later she was shown stepping out of a car and walking inside to greet the group - despite already being seen inside.

Someone literally asked her at the dinner party if they were standing and yelling and she showed them how they were leaning forward and waving their arms (in their seat). Now she claims otherwise. Right.

Everything this girl says in a contradiction. They way that she can’t take any responsibility for anything (both on or off camera) is astounding. We’ve seen her deny things that she literally wrote down and read out on camera. She is literally the definition of crazy and wants to blame anyone and everyone (whether it be Ryan, the editing or others) for all the outrageous things that she’s said or done. The way that she’s gone rogue online just solidifies how all over the place she is.

I’m not sure what her court comment is referring too but we can’t seriously have another contestant thinking they will go to court over how they have been edited or an argument (that in her owns words wasn’t outrageously physical or violent)? These people just don’t like how they behaved and can’t handle that part of it is highlighted in editing (because that’s the interesting part, we don’t care about the other 30 minutes of boring conversation that may have occurred around that).

If not crazy then she’s extremely deluded! I thought Clint seemed like a nice “normal” guy when he came into the show but I’ve changed my mind now that he hasbeen or is involved with the shows two crazies of the season, Lauren and Jacqui. I believe Lauren and Jacqui would make a lovely ideal couple. Hopefully Jacqui is not too “boganic” for Lauren! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

The whole show is like this. When they do that couch episode, then pan back to the other couples getting the ‘reaction’, that’s all just pre shot prior.

Even Jacqui’s profile was deluded where she claimed incorrectly to have been Miss New Zealand.

Not long to go with this season with the final commitment ceremony on Sunday.

Maybe we can all call out The Daily Fail for their mistake in this! There was an editing mistake in the episaode BUT the Daily Fail got it wrong too
it was not Rhi arriving but Carina and Paul. Might be a good idea when pointing out faults in others we correct our own Daily Fail! Rhi and Jeff were second to arrive after Adrian and Awhina.

Jacqui took things to another level last night. She needs serious help.

This show has gone way too far now. Where’s the duty of care? How could they not see during the interview process that she wasn’t fit for television?

There’s a lot to answer for this season.

Quite serious now with police involved.

Assuming next year’s Australian Open gets pushed back a week (i.e. to Jan 18-Feb 1), Nine will have the Winter Olympics start at the end of the same week as the tennis finishes.

These’s two options for Nine and then there’s what I think will happen.

  • Show the weddings Monday Feb 2-Thursday Feb 5 then take the show off for the two weeks of the Winter Olympics, and then come back with the first dinner party. Very unlikely in my opinion.
  • Show MAFS during the Winter Olympics, with the games on 9Gem/9Go, like Seven did with MKR in 2018. Will likely increase exposure to the show, and even bigger weekly shares. Quite possible.

Then there’s what I think will happen.

Nine will commission a MAFS grand reunion, bringing back participants from the last 3-4 years, to air Monday Feb 2/Tuesday Feb 3. Nine did the this in 2021 when the Australian Open was delayed due to COVID, and it rated quite well. Then they could delay MAFS to Sunday Feb 22 or Monday Feb 23, which would put it to a late April finish, giving a stronger start to the year, and shortening the gap between MAFS and The Block.

Thoughts?

Nine’s promos today for the Final Vows episodes strangely seem mostly to concentrate of the Reunion episodes that according to the schedule are the following week.
