Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan and her boyfriend Jake Dunn were in Australia in June for a holiday (Jake is in Australia shooting My Brilliant Career for Netflix). Nicola, a big fan of Married at First Sight Australia, wrote on Instagram that she even visited Skye Suites in Sydney, where couples stayed during the filming of the show each year. MAFS’ own Instagram account quickly extended her an invite to appear at one of its dinner parties.
Season 13 commenced filming in late July, and Daily Mail Australia has identified the men and women taking part.
Why give this ‘bag of wind’, not so nice man more publicity? Maybe just let him fade away to obscurity!

Now, the MAFS universe is expanding like never before with the launch of MAFS: After The Dinner Party, marking the most significant evolution in the show’s history.
L-R: Hosts Laura Byrne, Jules Lund and Brittany Hockley
MAFS: After The Dinner Party will be the first and only place to dive into exclusive, unfiltered interviews with the participants right after the show’s iconic dinner parties. Plus, fans will have the chance to see unseen footage that picks up right where the main show leaves off, offering even more drama and insight.
With Jules, Brittany, and Laura steering the conversation, the debrief starts the second the dinner party ends. MAFS: After The Dinner Party is the ultimate companion series, offering an unapologetic look at the season’s biggest scandals. Whether it’s the ‘red flags’ or catching a first glimpse of the wreckage, this is the essential, no-holds-barred breakdown where the tea is spilt, and the real truth is revealed.
The ultimate watercooler destination, MAFS: After The Dinner Party is unfiltered and polarising, where you can expect the unexpected, where nothing is off limits, and where the jaw-dropping moments continue and will have all of Australia talking and completely hooked.
To add even more-depth, relationship expert John Aiken will provide his unique commentary on participants’ journeys and the most talked-about moments. It’s a can’t-miss addition for every MAFS fan.
L-R: Hosts Laura Byrne, Jules Lund and Brittany Hockley
Jules Lund is a legend of the Australian media landscape for over 20 years and the founder of global tech company TRIBE. Jules combines his extensive TV and radio experience with a love of psychology. As a MAFS fan armed with a razor-sharp wit and a shameless fascination with the experiment’s social dynamics, Jules is ready to dissect every second of the carnage.
Jules Lund said: “This show is perfect for anyone who suffers from ‘MAFS Debrief Deficit’. If you desperately need to unpack an explosive moment but the person next to you doesn’t… you have now found your people.”
The undisputed queens of relationship real-talk, Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne, are the creators and hosts of the juggernaut Life Uncut podcast, Australia’s #1 relationships podcast and #7 overall. Having amassed over 100 million downloads on the podcast and just wrapped a 4-year national radio stint on KIIS FM as hosts of The Pickup, the duo have become some of Australia’s most trusted voices and will now bring their multi-award-winning chemistry to Stan.
Beloved for her stints on The Bachelor Australia, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Dancing With The Stars Australia, Brittany Hockley has made a career out of putting dating topics under the microscope. She is poised to offer a bold perspective on the scandals that have the whole nation talking.
Brittany Hockley said: “For all those MAFS lovers, this is the extra insight you always wanted. We want to see an even more unfiltered look at what’s really going down and how people are really feeling. MAFS has proven to be an important conversation starter, and as much as we love love, and highlighting the green flags, there have been hugely controversial and inappropriate moments. The conversations that come from those moments are important in highlighting unacceptable behaviour and what is and isn’t ok in a relationship.”
Having famously found love with Matty J on The Bachelor Australia, Laura Byrne now navigates life as a mother of three, along with being the Founder and Creative Director of one of Australia’s leading bohemian jewellery lines, ToniMay. Laura knows exactly what it’s like to build a relationship in front of the cameras. She is perfectly positioned to ride the emotional rollercoaster and won’t shy away from unpacking the participants’ most questionable behaviours.
Laura Byrne said: “People often blame the ‘edit’ for how they are portrayed on reality TV shows, and I think it’s interesting to get to the bottom of that. MAFS is also a huge platform for showing real-life examples of how people behave in relationships, both good and bad, and I’m looking forward to being able to give my honest thoughts.”
