As if families will let their kids watch a show like Love Island.
No responsible parent would allow their kids/teenagers to watch ANY of the dating, relationship or wedding-themed programs on commercial TV.
That tvblackbox article is quite funny. I can’t wait to see how he and his family go with this show.
The line was in reference to the promo.
Must have misinterpreted this
So-much-so they all expressed an interest in seeing the show, which they have not watched before
Totally fair enough - I obviously wasn’t clear with my intention.
But I can’t say I will be rushing to let my 14yo daughter watch the show, even though they’ve made a great promo
The upcoming season is moving from Port Douglas in North Queensland, to northern NSW, due to the Queensland Government’s border rules.
Great promo. Had a few laughs.
That’s a shame about Port Douglas. It seemed like the perfect location for it.
Does anyone know the start date? It sounds like it might not be too far off. This would be perfect late night viewing for lockdown right about now.
The producers assured (Byron Shire Mayor Michael Lyon) all crew members would be tested for the virus before they travelled to the region, adhere to a 14-day quarantine period upon arrival, and take COVID tests twice weekly during production.
Cr Lyon said the production also agreed to pay a $6,000 fine for unauthorised earthworks carried out on a property at Federal.
The producers also agreed to liaise with the tertiary institutions in the Northern Rivers to offer some experience to film students and will be making a donation to homelessness services at the Fletcher Street cottage in Byron Bay.
New Love Island Trailer.
Confirmation that the show will air on Channel 9?
Well it definitely won’t be on Seven, 10, ABC or SBS
Have you seen any post above yours? We’ve know for a while now.
Maybe he thought it might go back to 9Go.
Yeah sorry this is what I meant. Channel 9 as opposed to 9Go!, not Nine Network…

Abbie’s own experience with dating TV shows means she’s well-placed to chat to dumped Islanders who may still be reeling from heartbreak and shock.
“I’m looking forward to offering a different perspective than I guess other potential hosts could have,” she said. “I may have a bit more empathy for people that are maybe not as liked by the public, but I can also have some insight into how these things tend to work.”

Will it be on TV or just on 9Now?
So basically the Australian version of Love Island Aftersun.
On Abbies Instagram post it says coming soon to Channel 9 and 9Now, so I assume both.
