Hearts will be pounding and pulses will be racing as the UK’s most talked about TV show gets an Australian edition exclusively for 9GO! and 9Now in 2018.

Taking the hottest international reality show format right now and unleashing it on 9GO! and 9Now, the multi-million-dollar stripped format commission, Love Island Australia, will see sexy young Aussie singles on the lookout for romance, jetting off to a summer paradise to find love in the sun in Spain.

Not only must they must choose their partner wisely and stay the course as sexy new singles enter the island, but they also must win the hearts of the public, convincing them – and themselves – that their newfound love is real.

Throughout weeks of dates, challenges, eliminations and sexy new singles, all in front of our eyes, viewers will get to decide who they want to stay, who they want to boot, and ultimately who they want to crown the hottest couple on Love Island Australia. The winning couple are handed a pot of money to start their new lives together, but there’s a catch: one is given the chance to share the money or walk away with it all for them self. Seems like they did. :laughing: Sophie is under contract to Ten and The Bachelorette. They’d be mad to let her out of that contract too and make Love Island a huge hit for the competition.

SOPHIE MONK TO HOST LOVE ISLAND AUSTRALIA

Pulses will be racing as Sophie Monk returns to Nine in 2018 to host the ultimate game of love, romance and lust, in Love Island Australia coming exclusively to 9GO! and 9Now.

Hosting the hottest international reality show format right now, Sophie will set viewers’ hearts pounding as she takes a group of sexy young Aussie singles to find love in the sun in Spain.

In addition to the high-profile hosting role, Sophie will present a travel special and appear prominently across all of Nine’s digital platforms as a 9Honey and 9Now ambassador.

“How awesome will it be to work in Spain in summer! Love Island is like nothing Australia has ever had, it’s right up my alley! I’m so excited, it’s ridiculous!” said Sophie.

With the multi-million-dollar stripped format – which was the UK’s most talked about series in 2017 – Love Island Australia sees a group of sexy singles coupling up in a luxury villa in search of the ultimate summer of lust and love.

Not only must the Love Island couples stay together, they must also survive the temptations as sexy new singles enter the island. They must also win the hearts of the public, convincing them – and themselves – that their newfound love is real. Well, she must have been if they have officially announced it now.

Sophie was the obvious choice and widely reported so not really surprising there at all, it’s a shame Ten couldn’t keep her under contract post Bachelorette to get her on a new TV project and across their digital platforms which Nine seem to be doing really well at.

Sophie has told the Sunday Herald Sun she will film Love Island in Spain for two months next year. Given the time required for post-production, I don’t think the show will air until Q3 or Q4 next year.
