Yeah they do.
Well then, if “everyone has turned against them” then surely they can’t win. Or maybe social media is fake news.
In the early days of Big Brother, I had access to voting info during the week. It was hilarious how wrong the media got it, with what was actually happening with voting.
Maybe but it was pretty suss that the social media team deleted a post which had almost everyone on Facebook commenting that they were voting to save Teddy and Mac. And then magically Teddy and Mac were in the bottom two the next night and they got the couples to decide who left, after they told the viewers that it would be their choice.
There is nothing preventing the producers from rigging the result as there is no monetary value involved in the voting.
Yeah they do it to make the audience feel involved.
Were you the reason that contestant accidentally got voted off?
No. That mix up happened because the voting was so close and kept changing day to day. It was a technical issue on the night where some last minute votes were not included in the initial tally sent to producers. It was enough to change the outcome.
I know. Should have put some money on the show or were there rules around that?
Absolutely. We were told that we couldn’t reveal the details of the results or gamble using information obtained. Anyone who did, faced instant dismissal.
god these people are horrible but Eden is a massive prick
I really don’t understand why Sophie is so absent from the show.
Oh geez Teddy is full of sour grapes. He needs to take a hard look at himself and not play mr innocent.
Eden and Teddy never got along since day 1 because Teddy came in saying that he was after Erin and specifically said that he didn’t care if she was taken. On the first day he got to pick someone on a date and he chose Erin knowing that Eden was with her. So Teddy isn’t exactly innocent so the two never got along. Now we have Teddy bad talking Eden when the reason they never got along was all his fault. Eden had good reason not to like him and instead of causing any fights or conflicts he just avoided him.
Also how are two girls talking about Teddy and his appearance bullying behaviour? What sort of show did he think he was signing up for? Of course on a dating show like this people are going to talk about physical appearance and what they are attracted too /not attracted too. They have all done it.
Yeah what on earth is the point of her being on there? She seems to pop up once or twice a week max. Why the eliminations are being delivered by SMS to the contestants this week is beyond me.
I really hope that Erin and Eden win but have a feeling Josh seems to be the most popular with the public.
Both Erin and Eden have annoyed me of late. I feel they are both bullies. I don’t want them to win anymore. I’m not just talking about the Teddy situation but also the fact that Eden was like “We are not backing down” about getting rid of Millie and stuff. I just feel he feels he has it won. And then Erin yelling at Millie because Eden said he found her attractive. What did that have to do with Millie?
You just said everything I feel. Erin and Eden are bullies and have tried to manipulate the other couples to ensure they win the money. They are the biggest game players in there and I hope they don’t win.
It feels like they think they have it in the bag so I would love to see their faces when they don’t win. Given the sentiment on social media most people will be unhappy if Erin and Eden win which could affect ratings for next year.
your morals are interesting
I still reckon they will be final two and Eden will take the money.
If it’s Josh and Amelia, Amelia will take the money too.
On the UK version no one has taken the money yet, I think it will be the same here. They will all decide to share it.
Love Island Australia Winners
They have been at the centre of worldwide headlines for six weeks, and now electrician Grant Crapp and beauty queen Tayla Damir have been announced as the winners of Love Island Australia 2018.
With their win determined solely by viewers voting for their favourite couple through the Love Island Australia App, host Sophie Monk revealed the pair won the hearts of a nation over Eden and Erin, and Josh and Amelia.
But in the world of Love Island, the path to love is never clear-cut. Once the couple were announced as winners, they were each given an envelope – one containing $50,000 and nothing in the other. Tayla’s envelope had $50,000 and had the choice to either split the money or take it for herself, thereby proving she was in it for money and not love. She chose love.
"Coming into this experience, we had no expectations but the show has exceeded everything we have ever imagined,” says Tayla, 21, from Perth.
Grant, from Canberra, says: “We will forever be grateful that Australia believed in our love and voted for us to win the first ever season of Love Island Australia."
The couple’s path to love has been rocky, with Grant making global headlines after dumping Cassidy for Tayla, and then a having a physical altercation with Eden.
Luke will be happy. Love Island seems to have been renewed for a second series.
I saw about two minutes of the program last night. Is it just me or is Sophie speaking more ‘bogan’ on the show? I’ve seen her on other shows and heard her on radio, yet her speech last night was very different to anything I’ve heard from her before, to the point that I had to double check to see if it was actually her talking.
Perhaps she’s modified her speech to match the presumed demographic of the show?
Well, when you hang around a lot of bogans…I’m surprised she’s not mumbling more too now.
