Jo Rob and Robbo show I reckon
I hope they look further afield for a replacement than Jo,
I donât! I love her. You just donât
I stopped listening to the podcast not long after Ben joined because I didnât think he was a good fit. The production leaned too far towards the gossip side when respected media industry commentators like Dan Bennett and Stephen Brook moved on. I have no doubt thereâs a market for Benâs gossipy style but it wasnât what drew me to the media industry Blackbox podcast in the first place.
Agreed, I really liked the podcast at the beginning because of its industry focus but his addition to the lineup made it feel less newsy and left me wondering why he was there to contribute.
I enjoyed Ben on Big Brother as a contestant but had no interest in listening to him once that ended.
Great news. Must have been a disagreement about Live+ revenue. Odd.
I donât wanna jump on the bandwagon as I didnât have a huge issue with Ben but i definitely preferred the vibe of the podcast before he joined that said I still listen to it religiously each week it ranks up there with my favourite regular podcasts.
I donât think anybody has an issue with Ben. He specialises in commenting on the reality stuff and just comes across as a little out of his depth on the more serious matters.
I seldom watch reality and believe it saturating the schedule has contributed to ruining the prime time viewing experience in Australia. Clearly some people love it and the gossip surrounding it and will enjoy Benâs insight. I donât.
Rob McKnight says that one of the nightly shows will include a review of that nightâs reality television programs. Iâm guessing that wonât interest you. I know I will pass on that.
So this is ONE channel which will be live at times? Pricing at $6.95 is a bit steep IMO. There were lots of complaints on here when it was anounced that 10 All Access would cost $9.95! I have no problem choosing which one I consider to be the better value. I donât have 10 All Access but I do have Amazon Prime Video for $4.95 per month. One channel, maybe $2.95 per month?
Another new addition to the ARR team.
Who is this?
Looked him up and he is another washed up former Big Brother contestant. Just when we thought we were safe with Ben gone.
Random question, but, theyâve said they only need 60,000 subscribers to start making some profits. How easy will it be to get 60,000 subscriptions? Do we think they will get that?
Why do they have to settle for the token gay entertainment reporter?
Iâm getting sick of seeing this happen.
Itâs hard to make any type of prediction about the service until details of the programming itâll offer are announced. Like with any streaming service, the programming will make or break it
Any update @blackbox ?
Is it all going to plan? When do you expect to start rehearsals?
The ARR Show is now on Twitch, which is the streaming platform they are pushing. Ticker doesnât seem to get a mention in the latest posts.
we do think weâll get that⌠and more
