Kyle Sandilands Live will launch on Monday, August 10 through Sandilands’ upcoming standalone app.
The subscription-based service will cost $99 annually, with no monthly payment option available at launch.

The website has officially launched.
There is not a hope in hell’s chance this is successful under this model. Even if it was free it would probably struggle to attract a significant audience to a niche platform.

Yes, exactly what I thought as well. Stern had the large market to pull it off with satellite radio, but I doubt a paywalled medium will work out here. Plus, Kyle is vile anywhere outside the Sydney sandstone curtain. Then again, our collective intelligence is seemingly on a downward spiral, so you never know.

Good points. Stern also has the years in national radio to build up the audience so that moving to satellite radio was fairly straight forward. Kyle just reeks of the slimy Sydney-ness and in a parochial nation like ours, and as we’ve since found out, he doesn’t translate well outside of the Sydney cesspool.

To anything bar Kyle, yes it would. 
Interesting considering he’s promoting it as $2 a week, yet only offering the annual deal. Surely when it launches there’d be a bunch of people who would sign up for a month or a few weeks just to see what it’s like, but won’t because it’s an annual thing.
Still way too much to listen to him carry on like a pork chop, even on a weekly basis.
I’ll carry on like a pork chop for $1 a week.
