Is Bodge working in radio currently? Is he waiting for a metro gig to appear?
According to this article published back when PJ’s departure was announced, Lauren Phillips will be her replacement. Not sure if there’s any truth to the article though, as I don’t believe there’s been official confirmation from KIIS.
Purely speculation, although with a good basis given her recent fill in work there.
Not permanently. He got some shifts with SCA during the floods and recently filled in for Strawny for a few weeks. He does seem to want to move from Port Macquarie, but unfortunately will probably have to to keep working in radio. He’d be a real loss for the industry.
Amanda (Mandy) Catalano has joined KIIS 1011 from FOX FM as an audio producer on Jase & PJ replacing Toni Lodge.
Who is Lauren Phillips? What experience does she have to be on a Melb FM bfast show?
In short: She’s probably most well known for presenting the “Postcards” program on Nine Melbourne and the weather on Weekend Today from a national perspective, among other spots for the network.
Thanks @SydneyCityTV
Hardly a compelling talent with drawing power.
Perfect for 101.1 then
I guess you have to start somewhere… every one is an unknown at some point.
Ryan Jon filled in for Jase Hawkins this morning.
Bucklow loves writing about K&J
Sydney media ecosystem
Cue the complaints to ACMA about K&JO’s “Most Beautiful Penis Pageant” competition in 5…4…3…2…
As did former Collingwood AFL star Dane Swan.
Jase was back on air this morning. He told PJ that he suffered food poisoning on Tuesday night and decided to take yesterday off.
I wonder if PJ will return to Melbourne for one last week of broadcasting before she leaves KIIS in June.
Those “ya boi Bruno” segments are tragically woeful.
PJ has been acting like a sheep all week
Sunday Herald Sun is reporting that Lauren Phillips is the front runner to replace PJ on KIIS 1011 Breakfast.
The article says that Phillips is the smart and logical choice for the role, and she impressed whilst hosting summer breakfast in December last year.
Pretty sure that’s the plan (assuming the Aus/NZ travel bubble remains open)
