I thought ARN had actually come to their senses! What do they think they’re running? A radio business or just finding the most obnoxious talent they can?

Kyle Sandilands is preparing to sue his employer, ARN, if the company sacks the controversial broadcaster, according to multiple sources inside the company.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, because they are not authorised to comment publicly, the sources said Sandilands “will not take this lying down”, and that his lawyers have advised him he has a strong case against ARN, which owns the national KIIS FM network.

Smallzy doing 3 shows/day isn’t sustainable. Maybe reset the timeslots entirely across the board now that 6pm has no one.

True. But the amoint of crap hes dragged them through, I reckon ARN have enough cause to sack him.

It will come down to whats in his contract, but given the fact they’ve hardly acted against him for past issues he might be able to argue that in this instance its unfair.
There has to be questions how he can practically remedy the breach as well - especially when he’s been told he isnt allowed on air and isnt allowed to talk to Jackie and ARN staff.

When Karl has done fill ins on talkback it’s been so boring and one dimensional. Keep looking ARN.
Kyle has very little to lose and plenty to potentially gain from fighting ARN, so why wouldn’t he? I can’t see any of the major networks wanting to take him on now and without Jackie. His only real shot at another radio gig is to fully lean into the arseholery and try his hand at right wing TalkBack. But I reckon he’s too much of a loose canon even for them.
I can genuinely see him becoming the face of the relaunched News24 later in the year. He’s got 6 months to skill up on refining his act in front of a camera and his abrasive, rude and unpleasant personality would fit in a treat.
Combine it with a bit of podcasting on the side, depending on how the legal battle goes, should keep him ticking over. At least with podcasting he can decide when he wants to show up.
As for Jackie, who knows. But I can see the appeal of jumping back into SCA for a reboot and what might have felt like a relatively happy place to work at the time. She could just call it quits with her millions and become a full time astrologer.
