Word is that ARN are upgrading their metro playout systems to Zetta from Nexgen. 96FM will be the first station to go live later this month.

This will bring the metro stations in line with the regional network and most other commercial stations (SCA, Nova, SEN, ACE, Capital, West Coast)

KJ Producers are on about 80-100K a year. I doubt a workday gig at 2Day is going for that much.

Yeah but this is in Sydney, one of the most expensive cities in the world, on the #1 morning show, with the highest paid radio presenters in the country. Iā€™m sure they could fork out a bit more.

Well, thatā€™s what happens whrn the million dollar presenters are greedy and donā€™t share thr wealth with the team that produce the show. The producers walk.

In media you chase the opportunities as they come. If nobody where you are has growth opportunities or canā€™t see your talent then you go elsewhere.
