I think it’s even simpler, almost nothing has ever worked for the station. I don’t think TTFM/Mix/KIIS has ever been something you could describe as successful, they’ve always been the also ran station in Melbourne FM.

Years of work in the market with a good local breakfast and they just reached 7%, getting 5% with a show they got for free with their Sydney show is fine. If someone was delusional in thinking it’d top the ratings that’s another matter, but 101.1 has never been a winning station.

The fact is KIIS 101.1 is rating higher on average than Mix ever did (except in the months leading up to the brand change when Mix did well).

If people think TTFM would rate well, they’re kidding themselves.
