$35 a bit steep where I can get NFL Game Pass, NBA League Pass, MLB.TV and NHL.TV cheaper and all the games live and on-demand.

The gripe with Kayo is limited coverage of the NHL and only a handful of MLB coverage.

Another price climb - but I won’t complain about AFL in 4K. That’ll look fantastic.

No chance you are getting all of them cheaper. NFL Game Pass alone works out at $70 per month if you pay for the season or $29 weekly. Sure you get access to every game weekly, but it is still nowhere near the value proposition of Kayo, unless that is all you watch.

It’s also Apples and Oranges. The league passes are for international audiences. You don’t get all that in USA. Heavily restricted (black outs) and/or more expensive.

You are right about the difference between USA and international, but I’m not sure what you are trying to say.

AFL fans will now need to decide if they pay $35 for 4K, no ads, and Fox Footy commentary or stream for free on 7plus with ads plus JB & BT….

Not for another season, Kayo One in HD still exists as well for $25 a month (and one screen)

What I’m saying is that’s it’s no wonder why Australia’s premium football codes are more expensive to watch in Australia than the US sports league passes are here.

If you do a price comparison you really need to look at the cost back in the US and not the international league pass cost.

The member I initially responded to was comparing the cost of Kayo to the cost of the league passes, and made specific mention of the lack of certain content from the NHL and MLB on Kayo. No reference was made to the Australian football leagues from him. Therefore, my point is relevant to that context.

The league passes are outside North America i.e. US/CAN

Hopefully the HD bitrate is increased at the same time

The coverage is limited to what is shown on the ESPN linear channels - it would be good if Kayo could get access to the ESPN streaming service as well (Fox Sports subscribers get it)

Does Foxtel still get access to the ESPN streaming service?

if you’re a cable or satellite subscriber, yes.

Fetch subscriber get free access to the ESPN App when subscribe to the relevant package for $6 per month you think Kayo could also include for free like Foxtel and Fetch

FYI, Kayo is getting 4K next month BUT it comes at a price.
Basic is now $35/mth for 2 screens w/ up to 4K UHD on select sports.
Premium is … gone.

Melissa Leong will co-host UFC Fight Week (available on Kayo and Foxtel from today) as part of the new deal. I didn’t know she’s a UFC fan.
