Yeah but News News?
That was my mistake, should be Hawaii News Now.
Ah all good.
Not a fan of the opener or ticket graphics like the new studio, it’s got a nice loaco feel while being in 2021
It’s a mish-mash of different eras. The open was made in-house (the nighttime version that airs on both KGMB and KHNL is longer and features a shooting star), the lower thirds and weather graphics are remnants from Raycom ownership (the scheme was internally called Limerick), and the ticker design comes from Gray, the group that acquired Raycom.
Ticker graphics have usually been the quickest to deploy. Gray also has been converting graphics systems over to Vizrt if they don’t have it already — a Vizrt installation will come in tandem with a complete graphics overhaul. They have an in-house design hub that have pushed a number of overly geometric and unfitting packages to their stations.
I’ll miss the flyover when it’s gone.
France 2? Here’s a clip:
It’s a nice clean look, but Franceinfo TV is my favorite – too bad it’s also the least-watched of France’s four national news channels:
CityTV’s Breakfast Television Canada:
From the YouTube description by emarsee:
Here’s a look at “Breakfast Television Canada”, a national version of BT Toronto airing from 8:30 AM to 10 AM on all Citytv stations across Canada except for Citytv Saskatchewan. The show is live in Toronto and Montreal and airs on tape delay on the Western Canadian Citytv stations. The intro to the show is rather abrupt and doesn’t feel like the start of a true national morning show like the alternatives at CTV or Global.
And speaking of CityTV, here’s the Toronto edition of CityNews with a new look:
A new look for the regional news on Denmark’s TV2 ØST, serving West Zealand, South Zealand, and Lolland-Falster:
There’s other Zealands? This is a revelation
This was also surprising for me too and I’m a kiwi lol.
Next thing you’ll tell me is that there’s an old South Wales!
Somewhere in the south of Wales no doubt.
There’s also Zeeland (once also spelled Zealand in English) in the Netherlands; that’s the one that gave New Zealand its name. Here’s their regional news:
