Here’s another clip of Franceinfo TV, which I mentioned upthread as an example of a wonderfully elegant look:
An interesting experiment from WGN, a Chicago station whose national version (WGN America) is distributed throughout the U.S. via cable and satellite:

EXCERPT:
Nexstar Media Group, Inc. announced today that its wholly-owned cable network, WGN America, which reaches approximately 75 million U.S. TV households, will begin airing a live daily three-hour national newscast called News Nation this summer.
News Nation will air in prime-time, from 8 pm ET to 11 pm ET, and will draw on the local market, regional and national expertise of Nexstar’s 5,400 local journalists in 110 local newsrooms across the country. The program will deliver news reporting that is fact-based, impactful, educational and unbiased.

Germany appears to have a shortage of chairs available for news talent.
RTL in Croatia unveiled a new look just before the New Year:
Good on them for trying something different but reckon it will only last for a year maximum before it’s axed
The morning news from CKVU (CityTV), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 2019:
A special edition of France 3’s local news for the Paris metro region devoted to the transport strike during the holiday season:
And from 1978, here’s the first edition of 20/20, another program produced by Shanks. The ABC (U.S.) news magazine was hosted by an Australian, Robert Hughes, and Harold Hayes. The whole thing was a disaster; the premiere was panned by the critics, and Shanks was fired the very next day, as were the two hosts.
The rather pointless claymation film of Jimmy Carter singing Georgia on My Mind was derided the show’s low point.
ABC News head Roone Arledge brought in a new team and a new host for the following week’s edition, and 20/20 went on to become a successful – and very profitable – program for ABC.
There was even a New Zealand version for many years:
We still do;

Thanks for the correction! Wikipedia has failed me again.
From a year ago, an extended English-language promo for Euronews, a pan-European news channel based in France:
The morning news from BFM Paris, a local all-news channel for the French capital (not to be confused with BFM TV, which is a national news channel):
NBC & Sky News to launch joint World News channel to go up against CNN International and BBC World News. Launching mid year. Will be interesting to see if it is carried here in Australia.
Sky News UK is carried on Foxtel and Euronews on Fetch TV
FT suggest that it will be available online
“NBC Sky World Action Eyewitness Nightly News” would be better.
