I have a feeling Hamish and Andy (or one or the other) might be on this. They’ve already announced that their radio show won’t return until the 27th March next year due to some sort of TV project… and one of the clues as I posted last week is about a radio personality.
As much as I’d love to see Keira I’m also predicting now that they might want to snatch up the likes of Nikki or Matty from Bachelor/Bachelorette. Both were hughely popular with viewers but unlikely to be the next Bachelor/Bachelorette now given they are both reported to be dating people.
So what? Look at how they cast UK Celebrity Big Brother. When casting there are generally certain categories of people they want on the show. There are always 3 or 4 younger singles types on there (generally from shows like Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach, The only way is Essex etc) to encourage relationships/romance/hook ups in the house. Generally it brings the most entertainment too. You still also get 2 or 3 older contestants too. It adds a bit more variety. I don’t have a problem if they want to follow the same sort of lead and if they do I’m sure there will still be variety in the cast.
I like your thinking, and the dates line up remarkably well, but they currently contracted to Nine and are working on a show that will on Nine in second half on 2017, so it would be strange (but not impossible) for them to feature on a show on rival network.
I’m also not sure either of them fit the term “shock jock”, but it wouldn’t be the first time that term has been exaggerated.
Alright I’m going to start guessing, will be 100% correct in saying I’ll get it wrong but ehh

It doesn’t necessarily mean that Hamish or Andy are contracted to Nine. They are probably signed on to the production company. It’s not uncommon these days for people to be on multiple networks. Julia Morris for example doing this and House Husbands. Also Hamish was just on The Wrong Girl which was on Ten so its possible.
It won’t be someone currently on radio. Kyle and Jackie already denied it last week when interviewing Chris and Julia Morris. They said that they are contracted to do their radio show next year so not possible for them to do this.
Good guessing with Ricki Lee too. Her name popped up in a convo with a friend the other day as someone hadn’t heard from in a while. She’s the sort of person that would do a show like this.
They are filming their next tv show for Channel 9.
I think the ‘shock jock’ will be the chick that won the Melbourne Cup last year.
