I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Can’t be possible. Two of those are up for elimination next episode.

I think only one of them goes through.

You said the three mention a few weeks ago are the same as mentioned by Fev this week. Are you now saying they are not?

The post from two weeks ago named who they believe to be the final three, however one of the people in tonight’s elimination was not on that list. Fev named the same three as mentioned two weeks ago.

Jungle Jukebox Jinxed: Dyson Sings His Swan Song.

Dyson Heppell’s Time In The Jungle Comes To An End.

The saddest song the jungle has heard rang out tonight as Dyson Heppell and Gary Sweet went head-to-head in an elimination battle.

Faced with the Organ of Doom, the duo had to take it in turns to repeat a sequence of notes that would increase with every round. The first to play an incorrect note three times would be leaving the jungle.

In an emotional end to his time in camp, Dyson admitted that although he was very flat about leaving, it was bittersweet to be knocked out by his good mate Gaz.

Reflecting on his jungle journey with hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris after his elimination, Dyson said, “This honestly far exceeded everything I expected coming in. I’ve had an absolute belter of a time, met some incredible people, amazing experiences in the jungle here. It’s a beautiful place, I couldn’t have asked for anything more.”

A beloved member of the camp, Dyson’s natural knack for leadership and his ability to inspire and cheer on his fellow celebs was a huge factor to the positive spirit in camp. That, and his unbelievable iron stomach when it came to eating challenges.

Dyson often opened up about his time in footy, the supplement scandal that rocked his career, and his dreams of stepping into a coaching role.

Looking back on his time in camp and the relationships he built Dyson said, “I was my authentic self, I had unbelievable conversations and with campmates who allowed me to feel a real sense of belonging and safety amongst them so I could tell them things I wouldn’t really tell anyone else.”

Dyson’s time in the jungle was in support of the Very Special Kids foundation. “They provide care for kids that are going through life-threatening illnesses, and they do so much to look after these guys,” he explained.

As we farewell another celebrity, we are one day closer to crowning our next King or Queen of the jungle, but who will take out the top spot?

Next week, every episode would have an elimination, before three celebrities remain and the viewers get to vote for the winner.

Really disappointing to see Dyson go last night. If it was public voting I reckon he would’ve been in the final (at least) and Mia would’ve been first to go (yet she is only just facing her first elimination in the final week). The eliminations are just far too random for my liking, even the challenges often come down to luck.

If this show insists on being pre-recorded, maybe they need to bring in a super fan concept like Love Island? At least to have some viewer input to nominate who goes up for elimination. Something coming from a group of viewers would at least better reflect the public.

Also how annoying was that organ challenge last night? So repetitive and frustrating to watch.

Dyson probably would still be there if it was publicly voted, however, I don’t believe he has brought much to the show anyway. :man_shrugging:

I think going back to the Covid times eliminations would work best. All up, all compete. Simple.

The current system does create drama though, so I can see the appeal.

And even though it’s dropped with the extra competition as it always does, the pre recorded season is still up on the recent live years so technically it’s still working for them.

I agree, going back to the COVID-style all-in eliminations would have been the best outcome, especially with certain cast members this season. It was hard watching Cyrell’s meltdown over the choice of elimination candidates, especially since her and Rebekah made it about the threats in the first place.

Got to love pre-recorded shows. Robert started the show, saying “we ended last night’s show on a cliffhanger…”.

The last show aired on Wednesday.

Mia Says Cya.

Mia Fevola Farewells The Jungle

It was a fiery clash between Cyrell Paule and Mia Fevola tonight, but a tense word-game spelled the end of Mia’s time in the jungle, sending her through the Tunnel of Doom and back out into the real world.

With the weight of her dad’s legacy as a former King of the Jungle on her shoulders, Mia carved her own path and quickly became a beloved part of the camp on her own terms.

Speaking to Robert and Julia after her elimination, Mia described her jungle experience as “everything and more”, adding, “it was literally life-changing, as cheesy as it is, I have overcome so many fears; I’ve pushed past so many boundaries and I never in a million years thought I was capable of doing some of the things I’ve done.”

Confronting her intense phobia of being trapped underwater on her very first day in the jungle, Mia never once let fears get the best of her.

Mia quite literally threw herself at every challenge, including having to trampoline herself off the side of a cliff to grab onto a net suspended in the air.

In camp, Mia opened up about the online vitriol she has faced, the relentless trolling and threats of violence. Her passion and advocacy to stand-up to those that have harassed her online and in person extends to her chosen charity: R U OK?

“R U OK? does incredible work in the mental health space,” she told Robert and Julia. “They raise a lot of awareness and funds and spark a lot of conversations around mental health and they really just motivate people to ask the simple question, ‘are you okay?’”

But with the grand finale just around the corner, who will be the final celebrity to take the title of King or Queen of the jungle?

In addition to that; “tune in after the break where we announce the next camp mates up for elimination”. Instead going to a clip of finding out who’s doing the next challenge. Nothing about the next elimination at all.

Why so amateur? It can’t be this hard surely.

No tucker trial tonight basically means they are getting 2 episodes out of a days footage.

By my count they would have been there about 16 days now and likely have 3 days left if it finishes Sunday. So this season would would have been filmed in less than 3 weeks.

Definitely not the “month” they’ve been in the jungle that we were told with family letters.

I think the “month” would have included a week in a hotel in South Africa to prepare for their jungle experience.

Who says they did that?

Matt Zukowski posted a video log on Instagram of his trip from home till he started filming in the jungle. He pretty much only arrived 1 day before he was thrown in.

They clearly said “month” because thats roughly how long it has been airing on TV.

Out Of The Frying Pan, Into The Tunnel Of Doom.

George Calombaris Farewells The Jungle.

In a game of strategy, three celebrities chose to honour one another, turning an elimination battle into a heartbreaking game of chance.

Having never faced the Elephant’s Graveyard, George Calombaris, Nath Valvo and Concetta Caristo were summoned by the Bone Phone to go head-to-head-to-head in tactical trivia.

The trio were blindfolded and dangled over the ‘Mud Pit of Doom’, unaware of how many ropes were holding them up. They were then asked a series of ‘closest to’ questions, where the winner of each question could select which celebrity would have a rope cut. The first celeb to have all their ropes cut and take a dip in the muddy pit below would also be ending their time in the jungle.

While the game was supposed to be a rapid display of ruthless tactics, the three celebs instead refused to gang up on one another and took it in turns to slice ropes. But eventually one had to take the fall, and sadly for our MasterChef great, it was his time to walk through the Tunnel of Doom and back into the real world.

Speaking to Robert and Julia after his elimination, Geroge said he was “really content” with his final night in camp. “I don’t need to win anything here and, if anything, I want to demonstrate the fact that kindness is not something we should take for granted.”

The last to arrive in camp, George certainly made a huge impact on his fellow celebrities.

“The first couple of days were hard,” he admitted. “Suddenly I’m with strangers getting to learn who they are, getting thrown into challenges, and you just got to go, you know what? Let’s free-fall here, let’s go for this.”

Reflecting on his time in the jungle, George said, “I wanted my children who are now 13 and 14, James and Michaela, to go, life will throw you obstacles and you’re going to have to jump them. Coming in here threw obstacles at me… literally!”

George’s time in the jungle was in support of Beyond Blue, one of the nation’s most trusted and well-known mental health organisations, offering information, support and hope to those who are struggling, need advice, or are recovering and need to reconnect.

We’re officially at the pointy end of the competition, but who will take home the crown and the glory of winning $100,000 for their chosen charity? Australia, it’s almost time to have your say!

Last night’s lesson in how to/how not to flirt was hilarious.

Tonight’s trial was the final trial of the season and all the eliminated celebrities were involved, including George was appeared in person. The trial was sponsored by Domain, who provided a bonus prize, which turned out to be a box of freshly baked cookies.
