I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Yep I asked this last season as well, don’t think we ever got an answer.

They go over their scripts and rehearse the storyline for the next week.

No, unlike MAFS and MKR, IAC is not scripted.

Why bother writing articles like this! Let those who like the program watch it and those don’t won’t care. I didn’t know yahoo did all this gossipy “stuff”, in fact I wasn’t aware anyone used yahoo anymore. :slightly_smiling_face:

And it’s obvious it is Dave Hughes.

Why do they always have challenges where the contestant puts their hand in rats and straight after snakes? So stupid…

No such thing as a smart challenge on this show. :stuck_out_tongue:

Surprise!

Exclusive: A-list actor entering the jungle

Forget SeaChange. Sigrid Thornton is gearing up to entertain TV viewers with the ultimate tree change.

The Australian stage and screen veteran is a surprise addition to the 11th season of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! when she joins the star-studded camp tomorrow night.

Thornton admits she hasn’t been an avid viewer of the series, which sees famous names set up camp in South Africa’s Kruger National Park, where they are subjected to all sorts of stomach-churning and terrifying challenges.

This is the first time Thornton has participated in a reality show, and while it may seem like an extreme choice for a genre novice, she shrugs off that notion.

What a joke.

Mega Hollywood Star? Please.

Blatant false advertising by 10 here.

She is a Mega Movie Star. I never saw an ad saying that it was a Mega Hollywood Star.

Most of us have being saying that it is her from the beginning in this forum…

Sigrid is a great TV actress for sure but certainly not a Mega Movie Star.

She’s been in one hit. The rest are movies nobody has ever heard of.

They’ve really let themselves down this year. Probably one of the worst casts in a long time.

Fair point.

I agree that the ads were a bit misleading. She is more of a “mega TV Star”, than a mega movie star. 100% agree that she is a great actress. The ads also said “multiple award winner” - which were ALL for her television roles.

JUST ANNOUNCED: We're so proud of our Olympian on this massive achievement! We've had the privilege of breaking this news to @shayna_jack in camp, and can't wait to show you her reaction on Sunday night. 🥇#ImACelebrityAU | 7.00 Sunday on @Channel10AU and 10 Play pic.twitter.com/CpAGgebNpr

In your life time, maybe. All The Rivers Run (TV) and The Man From Snowy River (Film) were massive hits in Australia in the 80s.

The Man From Snowy River was an international hit too. It was the highest-grossing Australian film at the time, until Crocodile Dundee was released four years later.

Wasn’t she in a movie not that long ago? Like only a few years ago I remember.

I reckon IMDb could probably help you with your question there :upside_down_face:

She is still making movies and performing in theatre but is probably best known lately for TV roles in Wentworth, Amazing Grace and the Seachange reboot.

I still don’t think it’s correct to label her a “mega movie star” though.
