Cant chris still co host I’m Celebrity for 10 while working for 7?
If I remember correctly Julia was part of House Husbands for 9 while still co hosting I’m Celebrity for 10?
I wonder which which will hear first?
Chris’s replacement for I’m Celebrity or Chris’s new project/shows for 7
My guess would be that house husbands was a show-based contract, whereas the seven one is a network-based contract with an exclusivity clause.
Ie - they wouldn’t stop actors from doing another show, but you wouldn’t see kochi do I’m a celebrity.
If he was freelance then yes but I’m pretty sure he now has a contract with 7. Just like he did with 10. There may be a workaround but… 
Yep, exclusive network contract. Nothing but Seven for TV.

Sam Pang was just asked on Have You Been Paying Attention if the rumours are true re hosting Im a Celebrity. He said a firm no.
When asked a few weeks ago re hosting the Logies before the announcement, he said “no comment” with a smirk on his face.
So could re rule him out on the hosting duties? Or is it still too soon, and just a ploy?
Was it a serious question though?

If it’s true then I think it’s a good get for ten. He is universally popular and as the person above said, a solid surprise rather than going with the same old. I was paranoid that Pete helliar was going to get it and was worried for the show.
Robert is an inspired choice as long as they can downplay or get rid of that ‘OTT’ Irwin vibe of positivity that may be a little annoying 5 nights a week.
This is a very strange choice that I’m not very sure about.
Interesting choice. I guess Robert brings some type of credibility to the role.
The chemistry with Julia will be key. Was he funny/loose on Sunrise?

I guess they’re going with someone who has animal knowledge. Going from Dr Chris Brown, a vet, to Robert Irwin, zookeeper, makes sense. Plus Robert Irwin has TV experience.
Makes sense to me. Dr Chris was a vet before a tv presenter.
I think Julia will be able to bring the best out of him too. It’ll be different to her schtick with Dr Chris id think, but still good.
Steve was very popular overseas, with many people thinking that’s what all Australians were like, however in Australia some people found him cringy and it wasn’t until he passed that he became really popular here.
Robert is an interesting choice but I’m interested to see how it will work. They needed a straight man rather than a comedian so Julia has someone to bounce off, rather than someone else coming up with the funny lines.
Robert Irwin? I think all of us didn’t expect that choice.
He would have some knowledge of the creatures involved in some of the challenges, just like Dr Chris Brown. Which helps.
He’s only 19 years old (he’ll be 20 in December). He’ll be one of the youngest co-hosts of a primetime show here in Australia. At least he’s a very confident lad when he’s been on the telly (like Sunrise, The Irwins docos etc).
Great choice, didn’t expect it. Will be interesting to see how he goes in this role.
