Someone like Scott Tweedie would be good.
Scott Tweedie isnât good with improv at all. Obviously most of the jokes are scripted but he wouldnât be good.
Peter Helliar for me would be perfect.
Yeah I do wonder if Peter Helliar was put in for that reason so that he could do it next year with Julia. Both as comedians and theyve likely worked together a fair bit previously so would know how each other works.
Julia could still use all the Doctor jokes then and can now add âGreat Scottâ like back to the future for added effects.
Boxing manager Peter Mitrevski Jr., who manages Harry Garside, has launched defamation lawsuit against his client and 10 over comments Harry made in an early episode of the season, according to The Sunday Telegraphâs Phil Rothfield.

I think Scott would be a great choice. Heâs pretty good as a host and Iâm sure he can create some good banter with Julia. Otherwise Iâd go with someone like Rob Mills or even Ed Kavalee.
The idea of Joel Creasy is not great since his style is pretty similar to that of Julia and it would just be completely irritating. Darren McMullen is nice but apart from The Voice heâs the new KISS of DEATH for every show heâs hosted. And no to either Beau Ryan or Grant Denyer thanks!
Yeah. I think it needs to be someone completely different as co-host.
Joel Creasey would definitely free up my evenings as I ditched a show I watch. I wouldnât be able to stand it with him.
Wouldnât mind Woody joining Julia next season.
Someone from left field. I remember Shaun Hampson from Survivor said he was working on tv projects in his post-survivor interviews. I wonder if he would be considered for this? He would definitely fill Chrisâ frame.
Just prior to announcing tonightâs winner, they showed the âupdatedâ clip, with Richard Reid shown as the winner
What is Julia doing?
Is Chrisâ departure a good chance to start fresh with two new hosts and move Julia on? Perhaps it wouldnât be the worst thing if they want to improve their ratings. Look at Masterchef - it continues to rate well after changing its whole lineup.
Might be an idea. I mean it probably should be in the 500s each night not the low 400s. Itâs a good production, and one of the few live shows we actually have these days.
âLeggyâ Liz Ellis Crowned Iâm A Celebrity⌠Get Me Out Of Here! Jungle Queen.
Harry Garside Comes In Second, Aesha Scott Third.
After four weeks living alongside fellow celebs and Janet the Genat to raise $100,000 for their chosen charity, the Australian public voted in record numbers, but it was netball champion and all-round GOAT Liz Ellis who raised the 2023 Iâm A Celebrity⌠Get Me Out Of Here! jungle crown.
In the final day in camp, our final three celebs Aesha, Harry and Liz were reunited with loved ones. Aesha met partner Scott at the waterfall, Harry met dad Shaun at the creek and Liz ran into her kids Evelyn and Austin at camp before greeting hubby Matthew. Cue absolute tears all round as they caught up on news from home before heading to their final trial.
Enlisting the help of their loved ones, the celebs took turns to be zapped within an inch of their lives to score stars for their final, spectacular meal in camp. Over a cold one they revealed what they were thankful for, which had us reaching for the tissues yet again!
Then it was time to say goodbye to one celeb. Aesha of course thought her time in camp was âAMMMAAAZZIIINGâ.
And with two left standing, there could only be one winner. Announcing it was Liz, not Harry that had received the most votes, Liz Ellis raised the jungle crown, raising $100,000 for her charity Share the Dignity.
With everyone leaving elated after one of the best seasons yet, we also said farewell to our beloved doctor who, after nine years at the helm with Julia Morris also departed the South African jungle. We love you Dr Chris Brown (until we replace you with a new host next seasonâŚ)

Dr Chris Brown After 9 seasons heâs earned it
Earned what?
So happy that Liz Ellis has won the show. She seems to be such a down to earth person. Netball great, and semi-permanent panellist on Nineâs âSports Sundayâ: program.
With the contestants of this years series, apart from Kerri-Anne, i think the mix of celebrities were great. To be honest, i hadnât heard of Dominica (iâm one of the 27 people who didnât watch MAFS, lol) and Aesha Scott prior to entering the jungle, but they added some entertainment to the show.
