I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Bianca is Bianca Hunt who hosted Yokayi Footy on NITV until the end of last year.

I did not immediately recognise her until @cmo mentioned the clue. I heard of the other five people though.

I also notice Domenica had her hair cut short before entering the jungle. In her most recent Instagram posts she still had long hair.

She’s good value. Very quick witted.

Big brother when it was on 10 the crew would be upward of 250 people each year.

Shows like this have to have a big staffing especially when you are doing a 24 hour turnaround as well

Why are crew members still wearing masks? Is COVID still an issue in South Africa?

Er it’s still an issue everywhere champ.

I didn’t want to say it. At least you did :joy:

Covid hasn’t gone anywhere, and wearing a mask is still a personal choice. Many countries are also still wearing masks in large numbers, including Japan, Korea etc

People were complaining about Domenica going in… she seems fine. It’s the Below Deck one that needs to go (and will probably be one of the first to be voted out). So annoying.

Celebrity Airlines Flight 2023 Has Landed In The Jungle. Introducing The New Batch Of Celebs!

TV Royalty Kerri-Anne Kennerley Joins Camp Tomorrow Night.

Finally, after weeks of speculation we can reveal 12 risk taking celebrities who entered the South African jungle on tonight’s premiere of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Rocking up to the jungle red carpet, the self-confessed ‘nasty’ judge from the OG version of Australian Idol, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson was the first to arrive, quickly followed by Married At First Sight’s Domenica Calarco, Yokayi Footy host Bianca Hunt, AFL Brownlow Medallist Adam Cooney, Home & Away legend Debra Lawrance and Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry.

Made to walk the plank over a dam wall to get their chopper boarding pass to get into camp, there were nerves, tears and triumphs, especially for Domenica who was petrified before remembering she was in the jungle to raise money for the Leukemia Foundation in honour of her uncle Frank. The emotion and relief of nailing the challenge was evident!

Nathan on the other hand decided walking the plank wasn’t for him due to his genuine fear of heights and cried “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” With encouragement from Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris, Nathan eventually made it out over the dam wall far enough to collect three banana skins in lieu of his boarding pass and was granted access to camp for pushing through and conquering his fears.

The next batch of brave celebs to arrive was KIIS National Drive Radio Show Host Woody Whitelaw, cutting himself out of a box before a game of Guess The Celebrity. With celebs secretly loaded into a box and spewed with slime if no one could guess who they were, new campmates to be revealed in a sticky, slimy mess were celeb chef Anna Polyviou, Olympic lightweight boxer Harry Garside, netball sporting queen Liz Ellis, Below Deck’s Aesha Scott and comedian Peter Helliar.

Tasked by Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris with not calling Pete by his actual name, it wasn’t until the celebs arrived in camp, they discovered the reward for successfully completing the challenge was pillows. In the end, everyone felt mean before coming clean, agreeing to forfeit the pillows and be nice to Pete. Little did they know, they’d already passed the test within the timeframe and scored the pillows anyway!

After failing multiple times to get the fire started, the celebrities settled in to get to know each other over a cold meal of kudo ceviche. As the night ended, persistence in making fire finally paid off with Aesha finally getting it going and the first night was capped off with excitement in the firelight.

Tomorrow night, Domenica is up for the first trial where she’ll meet new campmate Kerri-Anne Kennerley!
