I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The UK series going local paves the way for the Aussie version to use the Murwillumbah site.

It is going to be very cold for the celebrities in a UK setting in December

Apparently the south Australian government tried to lure the UK version. I wonder if they will try and do the same with the Australian version.

More baloney from Annette Sharp. As if 10 would axe one of their most successful shows.

Are you subscribed to the daily telegraph?

Saw that article today. Terrible, terrible journalism. Also saying that BIP has been a disaster for the network as it hasn’t rated as high as masterchef. People who don’t understand ratings should not write about them

Does it surprise you when they are owned by News Corp?

Who still have a grudge against 10.

No but the headline says it all. Very little substance and terrible in general.

It comes after it was revealed last week that the hit show would be filmed in the location in North Wales and not the usual venue in Queensland because of COVID-19.

A source on the ITV show previously told The Sun: 'Producers are chuffed with the new location — they’re excited for a change in scenery this year.

'The Bushtucker trial crew, who work tirelessly all year round, have been working overtime to come up with some terrifying new trials and challenges.

‘Not only will there be creepy crawlies galore, but now they have the added aid of playing with a haunted castle. They think it will make for brilliant TV.’

Pity it would have been great at Kangaroo Island in SA.

Wonder if it will still be live ?

Why wouldn’t it?

I guess because it will have to be filmed quite late at night. Which might be difficult to manage with lighting in the jungle. Something the UK version has set up in that location.

Good point. Though I guess they’ll probably film some of the tucker trials or challenges during the day instead of live or do it at night.

They don’t normally do the tucker trials live anyway. Although it is QLD, who are behind in time to VIC and NSW, and it’s summer. So it will probably be live anyway.
