MTV Celebrates Four Decades Of Iconic Music Moments.

MTV Sounds On iHeartRadio launches Monday, 2 August On iHeartRadio.

MTV and ARN’s iHeartRadio Australia today announced the launch of MTV Sounds On iHeartRadio , a new pop up radio station to celebrate four decades of the iconic MTV Brand.

Launching on ARN’s iHeartRadio Australia on Monday, 2 August, the station will explore epic music moments looking back and beyond to celebrate MTV past, present and future.

Hosted by Australian artists Thandi Phoenix and Young Franco, the station is set to take off in style and celebrate even more of the music audiences love with curated music, showcasing exclusive and quintessential MTV music content for the entire month of August.

Each week is dedicated to a decade of defining music from the world’s most iconic artists, alongside performances filmed exclusively for MTV over the years. Week one kicks off with where it all began, the ‘80s, then weeks two, three and four will follow to showcase the ‘90s, ‘00s and now.

Brett “Nozz” Nossiter, Content Director of iHeartRadio Australia, said “We’re thrilled to be working with the iconic MTV, to create another unique iHeartRadio station. It’s a real blast to relive and celebrate some of the most seminal MTV moments from the last four decades of incredible music.”

The party will continue across MTV’s broadcast channels with roadblocked content dedicated to long form music performances and music archival series rolling out each Saturday in August on MTV and MTV Hits.

Even getting the oldies getting into Iheart radio, they love the new way to listen to their favourite radio stations…

Used to work with a friend of StarterFM’s, absolute visionary and credit to his work. ARN are lucky to have him

Please consider putting Starter Bangaz on there, cheers :ok_hand::v:

WSFM are running an odd positioner which is basically “how good would we sound if we actually made an effort?”.

I know it’s tongue in cheek but it’s odd.

Triple M would never run such a positioner because it’s blatantly true.
