Exactly, we are a discussion forum first and foremost.

I’ll say it: I hate the tacked on emoji system all together. It looks shit and the existing heart system is sufficient.
Delete it.
I’m still quite puzzled as to why there are 2 emojis for the same reaction, already serviced by the heart icon. 99% sure the +1, love and like are the same things
The laugh and sad ones are fine imo
I think it’s fine the way it is now.
It would be good if it was integrated like the existing Like button. It only shows 2 users and it doesn’t send notifications. Was hoping by now the developer would have added those features.
I would like to please request a “Seven primetime woes” thread.
I think it’s got to the stage now? Justification: Seven’s latest near $500 million loss, let alone a few years of ratings flops and perception of very average programming outside of news, sport and multi-channels. They’re now falling drastically behind 10 in the key demos. It was an extensive feature of today’s @blackbox podcast too. Most of all we’ve had a 10 one for years now with an insane amount of comments. Plus some of the threads that get approved these days are deeply lower than this standard (may or may not include one I and a few others use
)
In all seriousness though, I think it’s gain great traction and have some very interesting thoughts, opinions and ideas, that needn’t clutter other threads and become off topic. Australia’s most watched network for 13 years running (asterisk as it’s now changing on a weekly basis) is now falling from grace and evidently about to be dethroned.
Mods… To the round table and discuss at once!

NB/ Massive LOL if such a thread already exists.
They’re rating second with a close YTD behind Nine. It’s not “woes” stage just yet IMO and still miles ahead of where Ten is and has been.
Exactly.
The Seven Network has been in a far worse ratings shape in the past. 2003/04, anyone?
Nobody is watching their 7:30 rubbish, been coming 3rd most of the year in that time, apart from MKR (which was also way down). It’s just their news, sport, multi-channels and weekends are uaually massive which inflates their true performance IMO. They definitely have issues.
But your answer is fair enough then, forget it.
Was just my opinion, but mod team is always monitoring potential for avenues of discussion
Metric isn’t Seven v Ten.
The metric is Seven now v Seven then.
A lot of historic comparisons have become increasingly meaningless as the disruptive elements that contribute to the results continually evolve
¿The que?
We have the company’s CEO talking about Seven’s failures at conferences. Seven, as a % share of broadcast, has slipped. It also doesn’t have a paid SVOD service anymore since Presto went belly up, unlike Nine (Stan) and 10 (All Access).
The only bright spot really is their news and especially digital news.
Is there a night mode for mediaspy?
lol thanks
Dark-mode category logos didn’t exist in the past.
Is there a reason why the ‘latest’ column on the forum home page hasn’t updated for a few days now?
