Home and Away

There’s probably more to this. Maybe Dan and Nicholas have history?

Sharing a private conversation definitely makes him one.

As for anyone bothered by the language… clearly you don’t get out much. The C word is as Australian as Vegemite. I have taken it upon myself to educate the Americans I work with on the many uses of the word as well. Now they all use it. It’s important we share our culture with the world

Is this Dan bloke 10 years old? Dibby dobbing to the Home and Away bosses?

How embarrassing for him.

Sounds like they didn’t really care and brushed it off.

Tragedy hits Summer Bay with the death of a fan-favourite

A massive week on Home and Away will end in tragedy, with four of the Bay’s most beloved residents in peril.

Relapsing alcoholic, Irene (Lynne McGranger) continues her dark spiral, as she struggles to stay on top of her battle with the bottle. In coming episodes, Irene’s alcoholism reaches a new low, as she falls down the stairs while drinking at home alone.

With no one around to come to Irene’s rescue, is the Bay about to lose one of its most enduring residents?

Harper (Jessica Redmayne) – who is secretly carrying Tane’s (Ethan Browne) baby – has had a tumultuous time with her pregnancy, including a recent fainting scare. But how much longer can she keep hiding her growing secret? And with her first ultrasound looming, is there more danger ahead for Harper and her unborn child?

Having just come out of a relationship with River-Boy-turned-murderer, Rory Templeton (Joshua Orpin), Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) decides to throw Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) and Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) a surprise engagement party in an attempt to repair the fractured relationship with her brother.

The music’s blaring, the dance floor is pumping, and the drinks are flowing under the hot Summer Bay sun. But this special celebration will soon be ruined by tragedy. Who won’t make it home?

Harper, Irene, Felicity, Eden: for one of them, their time is up.

You can’t afford to miss Home and Away’s unforgettable week and one massive episode that will have the nation in tears.

Home and Away 7.00pm Monday to Thursday on Channel 7 and 7plus

Ray won’t be on the show in 15 years or even 10 years time unless he is still acting at 90-95 years old ? Like Ken Barlow on Coronation St?

Lynne is 71 maybe another 15 years left .

John Palmer will be the new Alf.

Ray Meagher has been part time for a few years now. Similarly Ian Smith (Harold) has returned to Neighbours part time too.

They’ve definitely been evolving the character of John Palmer over the past few years. From being an absolute pain in the butt he’s now a welcome character on the show, even referring to Irene as his best friend.

I remember when John Palmer first came to the show he was repulsive and he was extremely angry and irritated with Trey, but they’ve really wrote his character well into the show over time.

Awesome. Any room for more than just white people in this show?

You clearly don’t watch it. There are numerous persons of colour.

Mali
Rose
Perri
Tane
Leah
Kirby

We’ve also had Kahu, Elandra, Forrest, Samuel, Nelson, Iluka and Stevie in the last year.

That’s quite a decent and varied list of representation.

Greek, Aboriginal, Māori etc

They need to have more representation in the sexual orientation area.

Last death was Ari in 2020 i think? Looked like they hired a different actor in the coffin scene in the house. Maybe he had flown back to NZ by then the guy playing Ari.

The last death was Stevie two months ago.

Ari was the last regular character death in 2022.
