Said they were forced to because of the pandemic. Wonder how long ago this was filmed…
Ray Meagher today helped celebrate the upcoming 100th birthday of Daphne Greenfield, the show’s oldest viewer.
Annabelle will make her debut tonight (August 26).

There’s only one thing that can stop this cop from finding a killer…The Cop’s Wife.
Annabelle Stephenson ( Revenge ) joins Home and Away as Taylor Rosetta, the wife of Detective Angelo Rosetta (Luke Jacobz).
Taylor fell in love with Angelo while she was studying to become a physiotherapist. She found his passion and focus attractive, and his good looks and charm sealed the deal.
When a huge career opportunity in Summer Bay presents itself for Angelo, Taylor follows him hoping the change will allow them to heal personally.
Angelo’s focus is almost exclusively on the Ross Nixon murder case and once again she finds herself on the sideline.
Isolated and unemployed, Taylor’s vulnerable to the attention of local cop, Colby Thorne, who befriends her.
He’s one of the witnesses in her husband’s case, but over and above that, he’s charming and attentive and she finds herself opening up to him.
Just how close will they get?
Is this their version of The Cop, the Thief, the Wife, and her Lover ?
Ditch Davey makes his onscreen debut tonight.
Welcome to the bay
Ditch Davey ( Blue Heelers ) joins Home and Away as neurosurgeon Dr Christian Green.
He is a miracle worker. He’s God-like in what he can do and yes, it means he genuinely believes he knows best. He has to. People’s lives depend on it. He needs his patients to feel confident that he can get them through their darkest hours.
Christian arrives in the Bay to consult on Justin’s (James Stewart) spinal tumour diagnosis. Justin’s sister, Tori, (Penny McNamee) is the head of emergency medicine at Northern Districts Hospital and has called him in because he’s the best in the business.
Tori has always been unlucky in love and now that she’s a single mother, she doesn’t really see romance as an option for her. Could there be a sizzle between the two talented doctors?
Only time will tell…
HOME AND AWAY – Tonight 7pm
Home and Away trended on social media tonight as viewers were intrigued by the identity of Witness X. It was Willow (Sarah Roberts).
Thursday is traditionally the lowest rating night for Home and Away, will the reveal boost the soap’s ratings tonight?
It was absolutely fantastic.
And so it deserved to, one of the most thrilling episodes in a long time.
Completely agree.
My only downside was that it was a bit of a cop out having Willow as Witness X, I would’ve preferred someone a bit more unexpected/not part of Colby’s friendship bubble. Why on earth would Willow go against one of her best mates?
I think having it be one of Colby’s best friends is unexpected. Where’s the drama if it were anyone else?
Sarah was amazing during the last scene. She did a great job.
I think that’s why it’s such a big deal, because no one would’ve expected it to be Willow. When they’re in court and they realise Witness X is Willow looks like being a good episode too.
I think Willow may be trying to protect Dean.
It would be good if they coded tonight’s show into each of the three individual episodes in the ratings, so as to see how each episode went.
I agree. I wish Seven coded Thursday’s episodes into the three individual episodes, rather than averaging the 3 together.
At least there was some hype regarding tonight’s episodes. Hasnt happend in a while.
The Thursday triple episodes didn’t get any extra viewers last night. The show seems to have lost the younger demographics with more people in 16-39 watching ABC News and 7.30 than Home and Away last night.
Wonder how the show would rate 7pm on Sunday vs what they currently air in that space.
Good idea, it could fill a Sunday 7pm-9:30pm marathon timeslot so viewers get all five episodes for the week at once.
To encourage viewers to watch it on TV, perhaps they should refrain from uploading it on 7plus until a day or two after.
Not multi-episodes but I’ve suggested 7pm Sundays before. Run it Sunday to Thursday at 7pm.
Good idea. No harm in trying it on Sundays, and returning it back to 5 days a week (Sun - Thurs). A new idea, and beats the heck of triple episodes on Thursdays
