Lynda Kinkade - formerly a journo for 7 and 9 here.
Looks like Seven are switching between CNN domestic and international?
On BBC News, Clive Myrie took over from Huw Edwards at 5pm UK time - 2am AEST. I have a feeling Huw will be back at 6pm. EDIT: Disregard - Huw back at 5.20pm.
Meanwhile on ITV, local 6pm news is out. Instead, a special bulletin is scheduled.
Brace.
Angela Cox as host, with Sarah Greenhalgh and Hugh Whitfield reporting on 7, have been excellent.
watching BBC and Huw really looked like he was struggling not to cry with the announcement
What a moment in history
The end of an era.
7 and 10 with their own live coverage but not 9. They are using BBC.
7 have just finished at 3.50 and crossed to ITV. Sunrise begins at 4.30am.
Who is hosting on 10?
9 is taking BBC.
Our national broadcaster is taking five hours old news. Disgraceful.

Hopefully @admins split this thread.
The five main channels and of course the news channels all covering this as you’d expect. Other BBC channels have been suspended, as also happened with Prince Phillips death. Most digital channels continue though some with directions to the news coverage. Shopping channels have been suspended.
Nine took BBC straight without watermarks
News Breakfast started at 4:00 AM after a short announcement
Seven had been showing CNN, then switched to Sky. Then switched to a News Flash with live report from London followed by a package then to ITV
On Radio, ABC Local Radio and Newsradio are taking a feed from the BBC live around the country.
It sounds like Nine Radio have done the same (at least for stations taking Wake Up Australia/Australia Overnight).
Pre-recorded?
Today has started now.
