HM Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) -- Funeral Coverage

The BBC will deploy 213 cameras, plus remote cameras inside the Abbey and St George’s, and use 14 outside broadcast trucks, transmitting from 10 locations.

Sky News has used 40 camera crews a day since news of the Queen’s death, calling on support from Sky Sports colleagues. On Monday it will field 275 cameras. It has a studio on the guard house roof at Windsor and its helicopter, which provides pooled content to other outlets, will follow the coffin from London to the castle.

Thought the 10 team would have been at the pub by now.

ABC has had same with only the ABC watermark in the bottom corner.

SBS also has the same with its watermark on the top right corner.

Interestingly, SBS’s coverage is a couple of seconds behind the ABC.

Nine now go back to its own coverage with live pictures from Windsor Castle, interspersed with highlights of the funeral procession, and the hearse motorcade passing through Western London.

Curiosity had me flicking over just now to Fox News (big mistake) currently they’ve got Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne as commentators  :face_vomiting:

Pete, Tracy, Karl, Ally, Charles & Amelia alongside with Dickie Alberter are on commentary now.

Angela Rippon on 7 needs a break. She’s making so many commentary mistakes.

I agree. Too many mistakes from her end. Im surprised that noone from the Seven local team is there to join in and help her out.

But 10 Bold isn’t in HD.

I understand in some instances that they are trying to be symbolic with the different imagery taking place, but saying that the horses were “bowing” as they were moving their head up and down, when that typically means that they are frustrated was a little odd.

Aside from that, the many cheers from the crowd and throwing of flowers was a very thoughtful and meaningful gesture.

It is in metro areas.

Michael Usher joined Angela (voiceover). And a few seconds later, a split screen was briefly used on Seven.
