That’s generally how employment works, yes.
Hit’s FB page is stilll showing hit929 on their bio as opposed to Mix
It’s a clickbait nothing story.
They both had good chemistry on the radio and Cook is a professional. Just another fluff piece from the mail
Head of the Hit Network, Gemma Fordham, today announced the appointment of Mathew ‘Eggo’ Eggleston as Content Director for 2DayFM Sydney.
Eggleston has worked with SCA for 13 years, most recently as Hit Network’s metro Operations Manager and looking after regional content for Hit. He has held various other roles at SCA across programming, including as Content Director for B105 where he led the team to number one.
Eggleston’s appointment is effective immediately.
Gees the SCA fanbois in the comments…ouch!
It is a bit rich coming from a host of a non surveyed station. Who also fizzled put on Mix.
Sounds like he doesn’t take credit for that.
I’ve worked in radio with a girl I couldn’t stand, and that was really hard,” he said.
Who was he teamed with at that point? If I recall it was after Sonia and Todd experiment?
Carmela Contarino who I think has since moved overseas…
Yep, from around October 2009 to September 2010.
It needed to be said! Maybe SCA should snap up mike e and Emma for breakfast.
But he’s just a Sandilands try-hard.
That’s what gets listeners!
Interesting move. The current studios will be about 15 years old when they move and I’d have rated them as still being in good condition. They recently updated all the studios. Based on what I can see on Google Earth it doesn’t look like they’d get much more floor space (if at all) and will only be a few hundred metres from where they currently are. It costs millions and millions of dollars to build a high-tech studio and office fitout - I hope they’re getting some good savings on rent to make it worthwhile.
The new podcast will be released weekdays at 2pm AEST from May 31st
What does that matter? Is what he’s saying in relation to SCA have merit or not?
