Yeah, Hughesy would probably have a lot more fans if he didnât scream many of his jokes to make them sound funnier than they actually are!
The most positive thing I can say is that at least SCA arenât just taking the cheapest option for 2DayFM Breakfast by simulcasting Hit Regional NSW brekky on 104.1 Sydney.
But otherwise, my expectations arenât exactly high for this new show. Will probably rate as poorly as their previous efforts with there being another âWake up to an exciting new breakfast show on 2DayFMâ announcement made around this time next year!

Theyâre actually just making sure theyâre not on team 7 who are clearly their biggest competitor. SCA and Nine arenât really competing for radio audience.
- The name is staying as Mix 94.5
- Basil, if joining SCA, is more likely to end up on Triple M. Heâd actually be a great get to launch the station.
More real than 96FM is at the moment, which is the clear target.
