They were again in the studio this week, with the crew in the audience.
Theyâve been using last yearâs clips in the current seasonâs promos since the beginning, for whatever reason.
is Alex a relative of someone at Working Dog?
What makes you ask that?
LOL
Another very average show this week, hope this season hasnât peaked early.
Some bizarre panel mixes - last week skewed very young (which meant Tim and Celia overshadowed Alexâs debut) and then tonight felt like a bunch of geriatrics.
Next week looks better.
I find the energy in the studio to be a bit lacking. The laughter from the studio crew seems to be a bit manufactured and a lot of the times the panelists seemed to be taking the spotlight with their jokes.
Canât wait for Sam to get back.
Hopefully they can have a bit of an audience back soon. Any additional crowd is good.
Glenn will be joined by Anne Edmonds, Celia Pacquola, Tim McDonald and Sam Pang, according to new promo shown during MasterChef tonight.
Should be a good lineup next week. Nice to see Glenn back too.
Great lineup. Excited for tonight!
I know it wonât happen, but wouldnât mind if one episode if it became a bit of a Late Show reunion - even as a special.
Tony, Santo, Jane, Rob, Mick or Judith (realising Rob and Judith havenât appeared before, and Santo hasnât for a while).
Even if it was few of them with Sam playing off them, I think the dynamic would work.
Would just be good to see them all together again on screen as a one off (or a different take on the ep as a pre-recorded Christmas ep like the way the Panel used to do a Christmas ep).
Well next year is the 30th anniversary of The Late Show.
Glenn Robbins VERY funny tonight (as always)
