Have Tim, Anne, Lizzy, Ed And Sam Been Paying Attention?

Here to confirm if the podium has a better vantage point than The Cheap Seats, Tim McDonald takes up a spot for his first episode of the season. He’ll be sitting alongside Anne Edmonds and Lizzy Hoo, while Have You Been Paying Attention? regulars Sam Pang and Ed Kavalee bookend the all-star line-up.
There’s always a lot to get through, but who better to lead this motley crew than the best Quizmaster in the biz, Tom Gleisner. Between keeping score and keeping the contestants in line, he’ll certainly have his work cut out for him.

It will be Lizzy Hoo’s second appearance on the show in just two weeks (she was a contestant on this week’s episode).
Maybe she bought a 2 for 1 offer for some additional exposure!
This is not unusual at all. I remember when Melanie Bracewell first appeared on the show before she was a semi permanent resident, she would fly over from NZ and do maybe two three eps before flying out.

Funny tonight so far. Picked up substantially from last week.
Yes it a hilarious episode with a lot of Sam picking on Tom. My favourite moment last night was when they brought up that Sam was rumoured to be hosting what? Sam said to Tom “is it your funeral?”

Making her Have You Been Paying Attention? debut is stand up comedian, Bron Lewis. Nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival this year, Bron is joined by comedy icons, Ray O’Leary and Kitty Flanagan.
Of course, here to welcome this all star cast are permanent contestants, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang; and here to dodge all the wrong answers is Quizmaster Tom Gleisner.

Feels like there was an edit tonight when they were talking about Sam hosting the Logies.
Where specifically? I didn’t notice anything.

Maybe i was seeing things. My bad.
I think there always edits done but they’re usually seamless. I think there was a really obvious one after they were talking about the the sperm donor who had fathered 65 children. Tom made a joke about him “throwing in the towel” and they all laughed at that but there seemed to be an obvious bit missing after that. I’d say someone said something inappropriate there.

The veteran presenter took its discovery in good stride, joking on social media that it was ‘50 Shades of Larry’.

On Have You Been Paying Attention? tonight, comedy legend Aaron Chen makes his long-awaited season debut. Multi-award-winning Urzila Carlson returns to the podium alongside fan-favourite Celia Pacquola, both bringing their sharp wit and effortless quips to the stage.
The powerhouse trio are saving the top left and bottom right podium positions for the dynamic duo, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang, who also happen to be saving the all-important stage spot for an all-important Quizmaster, Tom Gleisner.
