Great songs heard on radio

Tonight for me

Somebody’s Watching Me - Rockwell (on Smooth FM, probably only because it was during Kim Wilde’s 80s show)

Heart In Danger - Southern Sons (Triple M regionals)

Lay Your Love On Me - Racey
I Want Your Sex - George Michael
Rave On - John Cougar Mellencamp
(all on WSFM).

Ah ok! Yes, I only get SWR here when there’s some tropo about… I know I should use streaming for it!

A few songs I haven’t heard for quite a few years.

Friday afternoon on C91.3 - Leonardo’s Bride: Even When I’m Sleeping

This morning on Vintage FM - Mike Reno & Ann Wilson: Almost Paradise, then Alvin Stardust
s Good Love Can Never Die…two songs I haven’t heard since the 80’s

Leonardo’s Bride! There’s a great Aussie band I haven’t heard on the radio for a long time. ‘Buddha Baby’ is an even better song of theirs…

Abby Dobson has the most amazing voice, and she also did some great songs with Paulmac in the early 00s.

Jessie’s Girl falls into the “overplayed” category along with many others. A dial changer for me.

Yep. He actually had some other good ones that never get played unfortunately

It’s a good song, but yes, gets played too much… i would like it more if i didn’t hear it so much.

Alone by Bee Gees on SWR this afternoon. Haven’t never heard it get played anywhere else. Usually, it’s something from the Saturday Night Fever album or You Win Again.

And also, Fever by Kylie Minogue. Despite it being the title track on the 2001 album it was overshadowed by the two big singles Can’t Get You Out of My Head and Come into My World.

Amy Shark will be dropping a cover of it as a single tomorrow.

Oh god, why?

I’ve heard a snippet of it and it has nothing on the original, which was one of the biggest hits of 2001.

Leave Kylie’s songs alone!

It is part of a collection of songs being released by current Mushroom artists to celebrate classic Mushroom songs from the past fifty years.

Dancing on the Jetty - INXS just got played on Triple M. They’re doing double shots on the metros this weekend. I heard this one in Melbourne and it seems like Sydney are also on the same playlist today.
