According to log on Lava, at 10:22am, the Black Eyes Peas version of ‘I Gotta Feeling’ was played.
I can’t see the Chappell Roan song listed at all, but Lava isn’t always right either.
My guess is that they may have played a small part of the Chappell Roan song, perhaps in reference to the Grammy’s? I have noticed that the iheart radio app will pick it up and list it, even if not played in full.

Ok interesting it was off the iHeart app. I was surprised at the song choice for a new hit!
2WS FM used to also play old and new when it had a hits and memories format back in the 90s

I do agree though - nothing wrong with mixing in newer songs if it fits the sound of the station.
Did almost drive off the highway last week hearing Gold 104.3 playing Lady Gaga - Bad Romance.

That was the first song I heard on Gold when my alarm woke me on Saturday morning (I think). In my barely awake state I assumed I had put The Fox on the night before.

i used to use alexa but it dropped out enough overnight that i ended up buying a Sangean DCR89 DAB+ Digital Clock Radio

Yep I’ve got a great little DAB alarm clock. Even if you lose power at any point it just resets the time and alarms automatically. Love it.

Love it. Mine even has the feature that if the DAB signal is off air it defaults to a buzzer.
