Glenn and Mick’s Celebrity Intervention

There’ll be a guest host every week hopefully so that’ll help make it less Glenn and Mick centric. Katie really helped carry it last night and contributed to some of the funniest moments.

At the end they had a filmed sequence of Glenn and Carrie exiting the studio. It looked like NEP South Melbourne.

Watched last night’s episode on 7Plus with my mum tonight. I thought it was an absolutely funny episode. Lots of laughs. Rating it a 10 out of 10.

My favourite moment was when an image of a Bluey cake was shown on screen, Mick Molloy said how it’s the only cake he’d ever have put down! This is a reference to when he makes inappropriate and dark jokes about an animal, mainly a dog being put down on The Front Bar.

Special encore following Front Bar tonight, also cross-promoted during FB. Molloy also acknowledged its launch.

I’d imagine Seven are pleased and want to nab as many extra curious viewers as possible and will hope for strong catch-up and another good second ep.

Mick’s company and his profile has carved out some relationship with Seven hasn’t he, almost ‘Mick Everywhere’ (noting his other network appearances and also via Southern Cross his Triple M roles). Reminds me of Shane Jacobson several years back.

In this FTA landscape you take any success and go with it.

Caught the start of the encore tonight. The show was filmed in NEP South Melbourne, in the same studio as The Front Bar.

I was at NEP today for the recording of House of Wellness. Was told that next week’s Celebrity Intervention episode with Sam Pang as guest was actually the second last one filmed, so by that stage they had really good momentum. Apparently all episodes turned out really well in their opinion (bar one.. didn’t say who the guest was).

Dr Chris Brown gets a check-up

TV vet faces the music on a riotous new episode of Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention

Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy surprise veterinarian and TV host Dr Chris Brown with an intervention on a riotous new episode of Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention, 7.30pm next Monday on Seven and 7plus.

Special guest co-host Denise Scott joins the guys live in studio as Brown is put under the microscope for everything from his bad dancing to appearing on TV without a shirt.

No stone is left unturned as the My Reno Rules host’s good friends Amanda Keller and Miguel Maestre raise their concerns, while Brown’s dad examines his childhood years to see where it all went wrong.

Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention sees Glenn, Mick and a special guest co-host shine a light on a well-known personality, inviting their closest friends, family and colleagues to revisit the highs, the lows and the moments they’d rather forget in a hilariously revealing look back at their life and career.

The series is produced by Molloy Boy Productions for the Seven Network. Executive Producers are Mick Molloy, Richard Molloy and Greg Sitch. International sales by Molloy Boy Productions.

7.30pm next Monday 4 May on Seven and 7plus

Great second episode tonight. Sam himself tended to carry the show. Glenn seems to not say much.

The shows is pretty good. I can definitely see another season of the ratings hold up. I would say anything 600k+ would be good for renewal wise?

Sam Pang was great tonight. Very quick witted.

Mick Molloy, Sam Pang and Lawrence Mooney have great chemistry with each other.

It so felt like The Front Bar, but without the bar. It even had a quick Dip Tray segment too.
