Was there no mention in the media anywhere of the shoddy mistakes made when they tried to pull off the illusion of the royals arriving in the Tardis?
The bushes to the side didn’t go far enough up to the Tardis and the light revealed what was happening behind it which completely ruined the illusion. Actor Greg McHugh can be seen approaching the back, fumbling with a curtain inside it to enter and another man assisting can be seen leaving.
Most people wouldn’t have blinked an eyelid. I was there at the venue and didn’t notice. Play on

I honestly didn’t even know it had started
19-year-old English gymnast Gabriel Langton had to be stretchered off after falling from the horizontal bars in the men’s team final, landing on his head and neck.
Also…it’s the Commonwealth Games. Sort of falling into irrelevance. Like FTA themselves.
And the Commonwealth itself ![]()
Yeah, can’t argue much with that. Too tired for that stuff.
The only thing that is going to save this farce is something earth shattering to get people’s attention, like Griggs going rogue again and telling us what she really thinks

I’d love to hear the reasoning why Australia took no female discus competitors when it look male competitors and females in other field events.
If it’s a scaled down games, fair enough, don’t include whole sports but don’t pick and choose parts of one team.
Was it an Australian selectors decision or Games organisers?
One Australian female discus competitor - Taryn Gollshewsky- has form. A few weeks back won Oceania. She came 5th at the GC Games and 4th at Birmingham.
Was interesting to hear Rohan Browning’s comments on the top 17 making the 100m finals. He said “I think they’re just making it up.”
