I’d say tomorrow being a new business day and much of this developing over the weekend, all the planning will be done tomorrow for what the week looks like.
10 fraken-bulletin returns if power is lost?
No doubt like in many cyclone emergencies the ABC will likely run rolling coverage from the Brisbane studios, and possibly other QLD stations if needed.
#Breaking : New South Wales Police are conducting a major police investigation into a threat to a mosque in Western Sydney. It’s believed the threat was similar to that carried out by Australian-born Brenton Tarrant in Christchurch in March 2019.
I thought that some of the images of the airline that caught fire at Dallas Denver airport will perhaps be remembered for their symbolism of America today.
A group of passengers standing on the wing of the plane with the word America in the background, trying to escape the shit fire that the place has become
That seems to be Denver Airport, not Dallas.
It always concerns me when photos emerge of passengers carrying luggage when evacuating a plane….
Selfish assholes. I hope their personal items are worth the lives of their fellow passengers, or the weight on their conscience if the situation had been worse.
Wrong SAS cited by Sky News UK and The Guardian in reporting the Heathrow shutdown, most likely an error from Reuters. Sky put the item with a wrong pic up in the pushback carousel for a couple of minutes, before pulling that slide down.

Gosh that transition is clean with the Late News package.
This 10 Late News report by Melbourne reporter Jack Pirie coping some flack in the comments on YouTube, already 235k views and 350+ comments from people about the use of ‘floor’ instead of ground, and describing the audio they obtained as ‘harrowing’ among other things.

That’s the thing though, I don’t think it was particularly rushed. They had reported on it during the 5pm news, information was already well known by the time this would have been reported.
During the intro, Ursula says the plane crashed into the tarmac but it didn’t, it was the grass field around the airport. Small details like that.
To be fair I’ve seen some of his reporting before and he doesn’t particularly have a way with words, so it’s not surprising, but he seems better with scripted packages and not breaking news type reporting.
