News Channel has breaking super at 8:32am. Today Extra and TMS crossed to Melbourne reporters around 9.30am. TMS had follow up report as well.

Today Extra and TMS (as well as Sunrise and Today) are on delay into Queensland so no mention of it here yet. ABC TV went ‘live’ taking a simulcast of 24 of ABC News Mornings at 9am local until 10am according to the EPG.

Excellent work by Seven Melbourne, streets ahead of their rivals right now, the others failing with this local developing coverage which is surprising.
To me seems like ABC News, Nine, 10 being very Sydney-lead this morning vs Seven which clearly HSV-7 have been able to break away freely.
