Can we see this channel ever recovering from this? Huge stuff up on all fronts, a terrible launch and on-air product, losing their star signing in such a public and non amicable way. Hard to see how it can survive, especially with the impending launch of yet another news streamer.

Angelos in over his head over there, with some actual attention on it with big personalities he has totally fallen apart. The channel still looks like shit on air too.
Angelos’ saving grace was that only elderly racists saw his stuff in Australia. Could never compete in a competitive market.

I’d say once this Murdoch lead product hits the airways with their star signing Piers Morgan then GB will flame out. In fact, Andrew Neil could be in their sights surely?

The bitterness Neil and GB News have towards each other is quite something - especially considering the latter promoted the former as being the channel’s lynchpin for so long pre-launch
Is anyone shocked? Angelos ran Sky on an oily rag and rage. GB is no different, it just doesn’t have Murdoch or Nine and Seven backing it up.

Watched a little of it this arvo. It must have been their early breakfast show. It’s almost unwatchable. Why you’d watch it over Sky News UK or BBC I have no idea.

the app popped up on my Chromecast with Google TV i use to stream the BBC in conjunction with a VPN and i installed it, watched for about 20 mins than uninstalled. its not even worth the app space to keep it

I’m watching right now - the breakfast show with Eamonn Holmes. It’s not too bad - ITV and BBC breakfast shows are very bland.
Australia is lucky to have Today & Sunrise.

GB News is extremely scrappy and rough around the edges. But it’s carving out a niche and growing
It beats Sky News most hours in primetime now.
Beats TalkTV by quite a long shot.
More often than not BBC News is in front of GB. But the odd occasion GB beats BBC 9-10pm or 10pm-11pm when Dan Wooten Live airs
