Losing the kids channels could is another reason I’m thinking of getting rid of Fox.

Only really watch sport and news now.

Wonder wether Foxtel will create their own kids channel lol.

Does this mean anything for Foxtel content or channel lineup?

they could bring back Fox Kids!

Fox Kids will likely show up soon. This is how they’ve filled the gaps in the Entertainment & Docos category. Fox [insert genre here]

Foxtel leaving Premium Content Alliance means no change for its content and channel lineup. The PCA is just a body set up to attract advertising in premium digital content.

Fox Kids would be close to one of channels dating back to Foxtel’s early days - Foxtel phased it out in favour of better arrangements with Nick/CN in the early 2000s(?)

I have it running until 2004. It was on channel 6 on Foxtel.

Wasn’t it timeshared with Fox Classics or something?

Yes, it shared with Fox Classics. Here’s a Foxtel channel list from December 2001:

ETA: This sent me down a rabbit hole of old Foxtel videos. How good was Showtime? Those idents with the film strips flying around Australia were epic. I get something in my eye watching them… tragic, I know.

That Fox Kids watermark was the worst ever, even outdoing Channel V’s 1998-2002 logo and of course the first WIN mappy.
