The 10-episode psychological thriller , starring Australia’s own Emmy and Golden Globe-nominee Ben Mendelsohn and a stellar supporting cast, explores the investigation into the murder of a young boy and the mysterious force surrounding the case.

When 11-year-old Frankie Peterson’s body is found mutilated in the Georgia woods, police detective Ralph Anderson (Mendelsohn) sets out to investigate – with eyewitnesses and physical evidence pointing to Terry Maitland (Jason Bateman), a popular high school teacher, Little League coach, doting husband and father.

While the case appears ironclad, Ralph is baffled by the emergence of contradictory evidence that places his suspect in a neighbouring city at the time of the murder. The Showcase website has a banner at the top of the page:

Fox One is currently showing Outlander repeats. It would be odd and disappointing if Foxtel has moved a premium drama from their premium channel.

foxtel has just made it offical. outlander will now be shown on foxone on feb 17 and not showcase

and i do think that foxshowcase will now be for foxtel originals and hbo only

All 10 episodes of season 2 will be shown as a marathon on Fox Showcase this Sunday (January 19) from 9.50am AEDT.

I watched the first three episodes of Avenue 5 last night. It’s very good.
