That would have been the least of their problems. What Fox would have been afraid of is the though of most of them being called up to the witness stand for questioning.
Imagine Tucker (and his wig) in a court testifying. Itâs the first time Americans would have seen him talking without reading an autocue.
Can Tucker speak without reading? We will never know.
Hannity + Ingahram are probably bigger than Carlson, so I can see what Fox has done, sacrifice one chess piece to save the others.
There will be other pawns (probably Pirro) to go, but theyâre taking a hit to minimise their losses overall.

He now also has a live studio audience now and presents the show without a tie. The audience is all white angry old people and red necks. The yelling and carrying on is absurd. God knows what the strategy is now but itâs a one hour whinge fest where they bash Biden, the Democrats and talk about Hinter Bidenâs laptop the whole time. Bizarre stuff.

Seems like a bizarre change in format with a live audience ajd no tie for an alleged news show. He would probably criticize Joe Biden for not wearing a tie to an event. He jumped on Obama for wearing a brown suit ffs.

The text alarmed the Fox board, which saw the message a day before the company was set to defend itself against Dominion Voting Systems before a jury. The board grew concerned that the message could become public at trial when Carlson was on the stand, creating a sensational and damaging moment that would raise broader questions about the company.
The next day, the board told Fox executives it was bringing in an outside law firm to conduct an investigation into Carlsonâs conduct.

The case resulted in one of the biggest legal and business debacles in the history of Rupert Murdochâs media empire: an avalanche of embarrassing disclosures from internal messages released in court filings; the largest known settlement in a defamation suit, $US787.5 million; two shareholder lawsuits and the benching of Foxâs top prime-time star, Tucker Carlson.
And for all of that, Fox still faces a lawsuit seeking even more in damages, $US2.7 billion, filed by another subject of the stolen election theory, voting software company Smartmatic.
