According to The Sunday Telegraph’s Phil Rothfield, Bryan Fletcher will host four episodes of Sunday Night with Matty Johns, while Matty is working at the Paris Olympics with Fox Sports boss Steve Crawley for the channel’s daily coverage of the Games. Matty will be writing columns and recording a daily podcast, will still be part of the show, with live crosses from the French capital.

Interesting. Is there any other info of their coverage? I assume they’ll have it made “for” the news channel to maximise the little highlights they can carry.

Studio looks to be working

They had someone else on the Warriors game on Sky as Glen Larmer was working for OBS in Paris.

Beaven Dewar - although Fox doesn’t take those calls anyway

Beaven has done NPC Rugby, A league and NSW cup in the past.

I wonder if Fox will have to hire another caller when the Western Bears enter in 2027 then PNG in 2028, given they already have 4. Or is that kind of negated since one of those will have to fly out every other week?

Matt Russell will get more games I assume and they’ll just call them from the studio anyway. Can’t see anyone being flown to WA or PNG.
