Fox League and Kayo will show the 2024 Dally M Awards live and exclusive from the Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney tomorrow (Wednesday). Coverage begins with the red carpet at 7.30pm AEST followed by the awards ceremony at 8pm AEST, hosted by Yvonne Sampson and Cooper Cronk.

While Nine is showing tonight’s NRL Grand Final exclusively live, Fox League will repeat Top 5 Grand Finals from 7.30pm AEDT. It will replay the GF (with Fox’s own commentary) at 9.45pm AEDT.

The channel will show the 2024 Betfred Super League Grand Final between Wigan Warriors and Hull Kingston Rovers live from Old Trafford this Sunday (October 13). Coverage begins at 3am AEDT with kick off at 4am AEDT.
From this year onwards, the man of the match will receive the Rob Burrow Award, replacing the Harry Sunderland Trophy. Rob Burrow, who was awarded the Harry Sunderland award himself twice (2007 and 2011), died in June this year following a public battle with motor neurone disease.

I’ve noticed that Fox League have been showing some old tests in the lead up to the Pacific Championships - all prior to Fox covering the sport (the 1993 1st Test between NZL and AUS that was covered by 7 Sport is now on)
Do the NRL hold the rights to the old international games involving Australia or is it the international board?

If it’s a bilateral series it’s the ARLC/NRL. For the last few World Cups the international body has sold the rights (hence why channel 7 held the rights in 2013 and 2017 not 9/Fox) - but I’m not sure if the international body retains the replay rights or they revert to the NRL.

And also on Nine, feed looks like a 144p YouTube video at times, FOX having this issue too.
Nine lost audio at the start of the game, it was fine on FOX though.

Yeah I suspect a pretty average OB set up, as well as some iffy comms.
Edit:.Mat Thompson just stated on Nine that a mobile phone feed was being sourced as the sateliite was knocked out by the weather.

Yes, Nine’s commentators are in Sydney as the only sound they had at the start was their own commentary.
