Best regular round of all time on Fox League + Kayo
NRL Magic Round
All roads lead to Suncorp Stadium for Magic Round this weekend but for fans who can’t make it to Brisbane, the only place to watch every game live is on Fox League, available on Foxtel and Kayo Sports.
This weekend Fox League will broadcast five games live and exclusive in 4K Ultra HD on Foxtel – the equal most ever in an NRL round.
In 2022 Foxtel is delivering more of Australia’s biggest sports in 4K Ultra HD than ever before, doubling the amount of hours across NRL, AFL, F1 and Golf Majors.
Viewers watching from home – or on the go – will feel like they are at the stadium with Fox League using world-class broadcast technology such as The Flying Fox (Spidercam), Fox Rover and Fox Hero Cam to cover Magic Round games from all angles.
Over the course of the weekend there will be 23 Fox League cameras used, 16 on-air talent providing expert analysis and 150 broadcast crew responsible for getting the games to the masses right around Australia for an event that is expected to see over 125,000 attend Suncorp Stadium over the three days.
Fan favourites Nathan Hindmarsh and Bryan Fletcher will be commandeering the Port Office Hotel in Brisbane on Saturday as part of viewing event open to the public with live crosses during the broadcast.
In addition – to round out a monster weekend – Sunday Night with Matty Johns will be filmed live from Suncorp Stadium on Sunday night following the final game with special guests Adam Reynolds and Tino Fa’asuamaleaui.
Fox League, available to watch on Foxtel and stream on Kayo Sports, is the home of Rugby League with every game of every round, plus every game before the Grand Final, live and ad-break free during play.

Will be very interesting to see how the NZ vs Tonga game is broadcasted this weekend, both 9 and fox are taking the game so I wonder if they’ll call from the studio, from the ground or take the Sky call.
They took the Sky call right, with studio wrap-around?
They took Sky for the women’s game, but Warren Smith called the men’s match.
Nine took the sky call.
I’m assuming it’ll be called from the studio again on the weekend.
Fox League’s coverage of the South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Parramatta Eels looking pretty dark on TV. Apparently a new lighting system has been installed at ACCOR Stadium (Sydney Olympic Park).
Very true, they made mention of it during tonight’s game.
Still very watchable though.
Just try and operate a TV camera in low light!
Yeah not a fan of the low light.
I saw the new lighting system during coverage of a NRL match at the venue a couple of weeks ago. It is similar to that at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta, where the playing arena is fully lit up, but the public seating area is quite dark.
Why would they want to do that? Are they trying to give the whole stadium nightclub vibes?
Nor the camera operators or anyone involved with the production.
It looks nothing like Commbank on TV.
