As big a news and sports story that Shane Warne’s death was, not sure what relevance that has to FOX League and NRL. Shane was always an Aussie Rules man.

think it was one of those “Damned if you do, damned if you do” moments, they didn’t spend too long it but mentioned it had been a sad few days for Fox etc.

If he wasn’t from Fox we wouldn’t have seen half this stuff done.

Few caps of Fox’s new look via Sky NZ.

The score graphic is fucking huge lol

Takes up all that space on screen, but they have to stack the half indicator and the clock.

I have to say, despite being quite basic looking and in use for a number of years, I think I prefer Nine’s scorebug.

Yep there’s definitely a way to tidy that up. The text displaying the current score should be the hero of the graphic, then the team names/logo smaller.

The most annoying thing for me is the dash between the scores - there’s no need for that whatsoever. Just move the Penrith silver strip over to the right and the Manly burgundy strip to the left and use their colours to divide them so you know who has what score.

A lot of the text on the other features is too thin too, gets lost sometimes.

The score graphics definitely can be even smaller.

That score graphic is absolutely horrific - there are high school football games with better TV graphics here in the US than what Fox have served up.

If they wanted to go with a grey / clean look, they could’ve easily duplicated the UFC’s presentation.

I actually like it, still could be a tad smaller, it’s better than the dodgy AFL version that looks like a WIN version of channel nine PRGs back in the 00s.

I don’t mind it (they could fix the font for the half/clock though)

Makes it a hell of a lot easier watching it on a mobile device too

Would prefer this format over what we are seeing in the AFL

I would say that the mobile watching experience would’ve been a big reason why they went with that design.

Those new graphics are horrible. Too much black and font needs to change.

According to The Sunday Telegraph’s Phil Rothfield, Benji Marshall will cross live to his former coach Wayne Bennett for the first episode of chat show Benji tomorrow (Monday) night. It will be Bennett’s first major interview since last year’s grand final loss, and later joining the Dolphins as their inaugural coach.
