AFL practice match graphics on Fox Footy 504. That lower-left live stream bug is an interesting addition.
Given we’ve heard the score will be moving to the bottom of the screen, presumably these aren’t the new graphics. But they fit Kayo’s colour scheme so I wonder if anything about them will find their way to the real thing?
Surely after a few years at most they will start cutting this back down back towards how it was, they won’t be able to afford to maintain the extra expenses long-term especially when the vast majority interested would already be subscribers. The biggest thing will be the Saturday exclusivity, which should attract some more across.
The change to its current graphics happened with the pre-season. So I expect it then BUT they might wait until the season starts because there would be interest from people to see the difference between Fox & 7
I would say pre-season would be the best time to iron out any glitches, etc (especially if there is any new tech involved) so it’s all ready for opening round
Delany said Seven’s counter to Foxtel and Kayo’s exclusive Super Saturday live game coverage with VFL (Victorian Football League) games on Saturday night “is the best marketing we’ve ever had. It’s certainly back to the future with Michael J Fox,” he told Mi3. “The last time I checked, the AFL was created in 1990 so to go back to before that is – I don’t know what the thinking is there.”
Martin Medcraf, Sport Sales and Brand Partnerships Director, Foxtel Media, has written a sponsored article on AdNews, explaining its AFL coverage this year to prospective advertisers.
Mark Howard revealed pre-game that Brad Johnson and Eddie Betts will be boundary riders on Thursday nights and not Sarah Jones doing host/boundary duties as she is tonight.
Looks like it’s the extended score with logo & abbreviation and there is team colour. It’s similar to their old top left bar from 2019 and it’s not a full bar at the bottom too
Capped the new logos for Fox’s shows and footy timeslots. The TNF and FNF logos were only shown for a few frames, so had to capture it then go frame-by-frame to find them.
